Celebrating Two Years

Two years ago today, Wander was born. It’s been an incredible journey so far. We started the company, built the team, and forged the brand. We launched the booking platform on both web and mobile. We established the capital markets infrastructure and the Wander REIT. We executed the vision and discovered a product-market fit that has resulted in thousands of guests, millions in revenue, and – most importantly –– a completely different travel experience that customers love.

We’ve had 4,000+ nights booked across 1,000+ trips (equating with 10+ years of happiness), hit $0 to $5,000,000 in revenue in 19 months, and have 160,000+ Wanderers and counting with Wander properties from coast to coast. 

I’m so proud of the team. Accomplishing an idea is no easy feat, and so few startups do. Now we shift from proving the idea to scaling it. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I couldn’t be more excited for the future or more proud of the team. 

Our mission is to build the infrastructure to experience the world. As we look toward the future, we see the opportunity to create a cohesive travel ecosystem. An experience where with one click you can set off on the adventure of a lifetime. Over the next twelve months you will see us expand and scale our core offering, add our first international locations, and also release foundational work to seamlessly integrate the fragmented pieces of the travel experience.  

I want to thank you all for being on this journey with us. We’re excited to give it our all before year three and make significant progress in building Wander into an important company. It’s been an incredible two years, and I can’t help but smile at the thought of what we could do in two more.
