Reflecting on Three Years

Three years ago today, Wander was born. It feels like yesterday I was pacing back and forth, imagining all that Wander could be. It’s hard to fathom how far we’ve come these last three years or how much more we could accomplish in three more.

In just 28 months, we've gone from $0 to $12M+ in bookings. This April alone, we added 17 new properties to the Wander platform, representing $4M+ in annualized GMV. We now have 74 locations across the U.S. (feels like yesterday we had three), and we're well on our way to hitting 200+ locations and profitability by year-end. We've proudly maintained an NPS of 81 (compared to Airbnb’s 38) and an industry-leading CSAT of 93.8%. We are customer-obsessed, and our community's positive feedback fuels our commitment to excellence and expansion.

Over the past three years, we've laid a solid foundation for a cohesive travel ecosystem that combines what people love about vacation homes and hotels (without all the things they don’t love), and made a significant impact on the travel industry. Our mission remains the same: to build the infrastructure to experience the world and help millions of people find their happy place. We believe in creating a seamless travel experience where one click can set you off on the adventure of a lifetime.

Our team continues to deliver new features like WanderAI Search, advanced pricing tools, and a revamped smart home system. Expect more AI-driven enhancements and seamless integration of fragmented travel elements. You can expect hundreds of new locations across the United States and then thousands of new locations across the globe. You can expect Wander to enter every area of the vacation rental and broader travel market with a focus on customer love.

We're on an exciting path to create a multi-product travel company that could genuinely enhance how people experience the world. It won’t be easy, but things worth doing rarely are. I want to express my deepest gratitude to our guests, investors, and team members. None of this is possible without you. Thank you for being on this journey with us.
