As you go up the hill look to your right you will see a dirt road marked Twining Road. Good time to switch on the four-wheel-drive as you start heading up the mountain. Twining Rd. changes names several times but never changes its main track.  Stay on the obvious path that cars follow and go up the mountain for approximately 1.5 miles. After you pass the Williams Lake hiker parking on your right you will see a green roofed set of four buildings on the left. Continue on as the road turns right and it will go a bit further before you reach the lift 4 base. Turn right into the parking area for the Bavarian Restaurant and see the entry driveway and condo buildings ahead. Pull in and park close to unit 3 in a designated parking spot. There is room for parking for 2 vehicles. To access hiking and trails, and skiing in ski season: Walk out the door to lift four. We believe this to be the easiest way to get to the slopes. You can also hit the Rubezahl return trail to the front side base and lift one from the same location.  You can walk down the road to lift for hop on that and go skiing. Or… You can drive down the mountain and park in the Taos Ski Valley skier parking. From there hop on the blue and yellow cattle car shuttles and get dropped off not a whole lot closer than you are at the condos if you ski down from the hikers parking. Can I ship some gear to the house before my stay? Absolutely! However, please note that deliveries are at your own discretion; Wander will not be held liable for lost, stolen, or tampered items or packages.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that delivery will fall during your stay dates in order to prevent disturbing the guests at the house before and after your trip. Should your package arrive on a day that doesn’t fall during your trip, a $50 fee will be charged for our runner's fee.
