This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.
With advanced notice and team approval, you may invite up to 2 outside vendors to perform services at the property.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
- **Wildlife warning**:The desert is home to a variety of amazing creatures, including squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, snakes, spiders, insects, and other wildlife. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.
- **Noise**:Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM. We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties or creating excessive noise during your stay, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and neighbors. Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited.
- **Pool heating**:The pool is available year-round. There is a $250/day fee with a minimum of 2 days for pool heating at this home.
Please contact the Concierge team at least 72 hours before your arrival if you would like the pool heated during your stay. This is a non-refundable fee once the process has started.
This is a pet-friendly home, although dogs are required to be licensed and approved. To adhere to the "Good Neighbor Policy," please remember to keep your dogs on a leash when outdoors, and don't forget to clean up their waste. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.

We regularly perform pest control and take extra measures to prevent critters from entering our homes. That said, there is a chance you may still encounter desert animals or insects alive or dead around the property. Please keep doors and windows closed to keep them out, and report immediately if you would need assistance clearing any wildlife out from the home.
- **Off grid home**:This Wander is completely off-grid and powered by the sun. It is best to conserve energy as much as possible, but we do have a backup generator that will kick in automatically should power run low.
All of our water comes from a well system. It is important that all members of your party practice water conservation to the best of their abilities.
Note: if it is overcast or at night, please conserve power. The mini splits offer heating and cooling for the house. They should be used primarily during daylight hours.

Kindly let the Concierge know as soon as you have an estimate for your arrival time at the home for check-in.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to approval if submitted 48 hours before. Violations will result in a fine of $200/hour starting at the time of unauthorized stay.
Guest Experience Additions
If you would like recommendations for booking private chef services, massage therapy, private yoga sessions, sound bath experiences, and more, reach out to the Concierge with the logistical details of your request. We can also arrange mid-stay cleaning at additional cost.
Quiet & Dark Sky Hours
As a dark sky community, all outdoor lights should be off by 10 PM. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM. Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited. The County operates a 24-hour hotline where residents can report short-term rental violations - All complaints are investigated and can result in a $1,000 citation.
No Trespassing
Exploring and adventuring are great, however, we ask you to please observe and stay within the property lines. There is a strict no trespassing rule. Sometimes the property lines can be confusing, so if you have any questions please let us know.
Shipping Items to the House
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, but rather to a nearby post office. Please note that deliveries are at your own discretion; Wander will not be held liable for lost, stolen, or tampered items or packages.
Important: Should your package arrive on a day that doesn’t fall during your trip, a $50 fee will be charged for our runner's fee.

Please note that there is a full-ceiling casita bedroom skylight at this home, directly above the guest bed. Light may come through in the early morning, so you may want to bring an eye mask if the sunlight is a concern.
- **Amenity notice**:Before Using the Energy
This home runs on solar power with a backup generator and a well water system. Please conserve energy and water whenever possible, especially at night or during overcast weather. Mini splits provide heating and cooling and should be used mainly during daylight hours.
Before Sleeping in the Casita
There is a full skylight above the bed of the casita. You may want to bring an eye mask if the sunlight is a concern.
Before Using the Air Units
When air units are on, please keep doors and windows closed so the air units don’t break. If you’d like windows or doors open, turn off the thermostat to prevent the unit from breaking.
Before Using the Hot Tub & Pool
Important notice for guests: Rinsing off before you go to the pool and hot tub could help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew. Also, don't forget to shower thoroughly using soap and shampoo after using the hot tub/pool, in order to wash off any chemical residue. Infants must wear a swim diaper under a bathing suit—regular or loose diapers can come off and cause damage to the drainage system.
Maintenance: The pool and hot tub at this location receive weekly maintenance to ensure they remain clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing & filter cleaning as required.
Before Using the Toilet
The toilets at this home are a water-saving model on septic, and do not have a strong flush. Please do not flush products other than toilet paper down the toilet (not even 'flushable' items).
