Shuttle Transportation

We recommend downloading the free NEXTBUS App for updated TART (Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit) schedules. TART also offers free shuttles which takes you to the North and West Shores, including Squaw Valley, Crystal Bay, Homewood, and Northstar.

If you are heading to Homewood, Squaw Alpine, Northstar, or Diamond Peak for skiing, they all offer free shuttle services.



The Mountainside Master Association's 2024-25 schedule for the Mountainside Winter Shuttle service will start on Friday, December 6.  The Shuttle will operate daily through Sunday, April 20, 2025. 

The announcement letter and FAQs and the shuttle schedule are attached. The Highlands – Ritz Gondola schedule is not yet finalized, so the Mountainside Shuttle Schedule may change.

Shipping some gear to the house address? Absolutely! However, kindly note that your package will be held at the post office for personal pick-up.

Deliveries are at your own discretion; Wander will not be held liable for lost, stolen, or tampered items or packages.

Important: Please ensure that delivery will fall during your stay dates in order to prevent disturbing the guests at the house before and after your trip. Should your package arrive on a day that doesn’t fall during your trip, a $50 fee will be charged for our runner's fee.

Please contact our Concierge Team at 737-377-3205 if you need further information. Weather in the mountains can change quickly, leaving roads slippery and dangerous. Use the resource linked here to stay informed and keep your group safe.


Our plow service contact operates from November 1 to April 15. They will clear the driveway once every 24-hour period when snow reaches a depth of 4 inches. For any concerns about snow removal, you may contact Concierge.

- **Wildlife warning**: The mountains are home to a variety of amazing creatures, including bears. Use caution and adhere to our provided food/trash policies. - **Smart home**:

Please note there are a total of 3 workstations at this home effective March 1 2025 after receiving feedback of needing more space by the foosball table. If you've stayed before, previously there were 4. Please note as well, the home guide is available in the Wander app as well as Concierge chat. Our Wander Concierge will support over chat, but if you are not comfortable using tech - it may not be an enjoyable experience.

- **Construction notice**:

Wander Tahoe Slopes is located in a growing neighborhood, with new homes being built around it. You may hear or experience construction in the area at levels that may impact your stay between 7 AM to 8 PM. Wander Concierge is happy to answer any questions or concerns.

- **Accessibility**: Prior to booking Wander Tahoe Slopes, note that snow chains and a 4x4 vehicle are essential for winter driving to the property to avoid difficulties accessing the location and unsafe road conditions. Please prepare accordingly to ensure a safe and hassle-free journey. - **Occupancy notice**:

This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay.

Before Using the Shades

It is important to only use the remote to operate the shades, as pulling on them can cause them to break.

Before Using the Thermostat

When air units are on, please keep doors and windows closed so the air units don’t break. If you’d like windows or doors open, turn off the thermostat to prevent the unit from breaking.

Before Using the Hot Tub
Important notice for guests: Rinsing off before you go to the hot tub could help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew. Also, don't forget to shower thoroughly using soap and shampoo after using the hot tub, in order to wash off any chemical residue.

Hot tub maintenance: We regularly service the hot tub's water between guests' turnovers to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing & filter cleaning as required.

- **Trails**:

Wander Tahoe Slopes is located on Timberline ski run.

Ski-able lift: Timberline Triple, operates 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM. The ski trail is right there in the backyard of Wander Tahoe Slopes, and is a 10-15 minute walk down the trail to the lift.

Check provided link to the mountain, and look under “lift status” on the site to make sure Timberline Triple is open.

As long as there is snow and Timberline Triple shows open on Northstar’s website (linked below), you can ski down to Timberline Triple ski lift, take the Timberline Triple up. Check out the mountain map and plan with your group your route from there, making sure you go down trails with lifts.

If there is no snow on Timberline Trail but the Timberline lift shows open, check if “The Glades” trail is open (link > trail status > Northwest Territory > The Glades) — Guests have reported hiking up to where Timberline and The Glades trail meets, and ski down to Timberline trail.
