If you'd like to open windows or doors, turn off the thermostat to protect the unit.<br><br><strong>Mini-Split Heating &amp; Cooling Notice</strong><br>The mini-split units on the top two floors are connected to one compressor, while the bottom two floors are connected to a separate compressor. Because of this, each set of units must be in the same mode (either heat or cool)—the system cannot heat and cool simultaneously.<br><br>To ensure comfort, the system is typically set to heat mode during colder months. You may adjust the temperature as needed, but switching individual units to a different mode may cause the system to malfunction.<br><br>For optimal comfort:</p><ul><li><p>Longer gaps between guests: Heat set to 68-69°F</p></li><li><p>Immediate arrivals: Heat set to 70-71°F</p></li></ul><p><strong>Radiant Floor Heating Notice</strong><br>The radiant floor heating in the bathrooms is set on a schedule with a maximum temperature of 70°F to ensure comfort while conserving energy.<br><br>If you manually adjust the thermostat, please note that it may automatically revert to the preset schedule at certain times.<br><br><strong>Landscaping Notice</strong><br>Landscaping takes place bi-weekly and may fall during your stay. During this time, workers may be on the property to perform routine maintenance. They will not enter the home and are instructed to minimize any disruption.</p>
- **No pets**: <p>This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort.</p>
- **House and community rules**: <p>Parties, events, or gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved in writing by Wander’s Concierge Team before your stay. Any guests who violate this policy without prior written consent will be responsible for an immediate $2,500 violation fee, plus any additional costs for excessive cleaning and/or property damage. </p>
- **Amenity advisory**: <p><strong>Heating Advisory</strong></p><p>The home’s main HVAC system is currently <strong>under repair</strong>, but several alternative heating options are available to ensure a comfortable stay.</p><p><br><strong>Radiant Floor Heating</strong><br>Radiant floor heat is available in the following bathrooms, with controls located on the walls:</p><ul><li><p><em>3rd Floor</em>:<br>- Master bedroom's ensuite.<br>- Hall Bathroom next to the pull-out sofa's bedroom. <br>- Full Bathroom.</p></li><li><p><em>2nd Floor</em><br>- Bathroom off the main deck.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Space Heaters</strong><br>Space heaters are provided in the <strong>upstairs bedrooms</strong> for additional warmth as needed.</p><p><br><strong>Lower Levels</strong><br>The HVAC system is <strong>fully operational</strong> on the <strong>lower two floors</strong> and can be controlled through the thermostats as usual.</p><p><br>If you need assistance adjusting any of the heating options, please reach out to Concierge—<em>we’re here to help ensure your comfort.</em><br><br><strong>Bathroom Ventilation</strong></p><p>Please note that the lower-level bathroom has limited ventilation, as it does not have a window.</p>
