: There is state-of-the-art technology throughout the home, which you will need to control from the Wander app. Our Wander Concierge will support over text but if you are not comfortable using tech - it may not be an enjoyable experience. Please note this functionality is in beta and we are constantly adding improvements.

Smart Home Technology

: This Wander has a fenced-in pool that is operational from May to October. The hot tub is year-round. To maintain health and cleanliness, the hot tub is cleaned every Thursday from 8-9am or upon request. If you would rather not have it cleaned during your stay, let Concierge know.

Seasonal Pool

: The nearest airports are Stewart (SWF) or Albany (ALB). Flying into NYC airports (EWR, JFK, LGA) and making the ~2 hour drive up or taking Amtrak to Rhinecliff station is an alternative option. Wander Concierge is available 24/7 to assist.

Getting there

: You may experience cell service disruptions in this region of New York. Please be sure to screenshot the entry details and WiFi password provided in the check-in email sent 72 hours ahead of your trip to ensure you have no issues at arrival.

Just a relatively short drive from the city, Wander Hudson Valley has everything you need to check out when you check-in - with beautiful mountain views, access to tons of hiking trails, and close to quaint towns like Woodstock and Rhinebeck. As far as New York luxury vacation rentals go, Wander Hudson Valley is idyllic with a private pool, fitness center, hot tub and more. If you desire, our Concierge can also arrange a private chef to come to the home.

Wander is perfect for those who love adventure, new experiences and technology. We find homes in the most inspiring of locations, which means that our properties can be a bit off-the-beaten-path, with some even positioned on high cliffs or up a steep drive. We take pride in the fact that our homes are equipped with the latest in smart home technology, but understand not everyone may be as excited about and comfortable with those functionalities as we are. Please be sure to read through our policies and each home's description thoroughly to ensure that Wander and the property that you are booking is right for you and your party. Our Concierge is also available by text to answer any questions. 

Minimum Stay

There is a 3-night minimum stay for all Wander homes. We only accept 1 or 2-night bookings if there is a gap between existing bookings. You should be able to do that in-app automatically in those situations!

Cancellation Policy

If it is more than 14 days before your check-in date: you can freely move your stay, or receive Wander credits of the full value of your trip which you can spend on any future stay at any Wander property. 

If it is less than 14 days before your check-in date: you can no longer move your trip. We will re-list your dates and attempt to re-book them. If we are successful, you will receive Wander credit for whatever dates we are able to re-book.

We allow you to re-sell or gift your dates if you have a colleague or friend who can make them. In this case, just let Concierge know their name and email.

By booking, you agree and understand Wander does not give refunds, only credits under the stated conditions. 

Pets

Wanders have very expensive furniture and linens, and we recommend you consider not bringing your pet.  

Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, Tesla, or spa facilities. Pet owners will be automatically charged the cost of additional dry cleaning, cleaning treatments, or linen replacements for dog hair in these locations. 

For those who would like to bring a pet, there is a + $100 per pet charge at check-out, which goes to the cleaner for their added work for cleaning pet hair in corners, carpets, and floors. This does not cover additional treatments needed if pets go on the furniture, beds, spa facilities or leave waste on the property.

Smart Home Controls (In Beta)

There is state-of-the-art technology throughout the home, which you will need to control from the Wander app. Please note the Smart Home Controls are in Beta and we appreciate you booking during the beta period. The home's lock and lights will be available in the app, and we are constantly adding improvements to the functionality. Our Wander Concierge will support over text but if you aren't comfortable using tech, it may not be an enjoyable experience. 

Children 

Most Wanders are awesome for kids and they are always welcome. However, some may not be safe for small children. By booking, you agree to carefully read the "children safety" and “before you book” sections and to not leave your children unattended. 

Smoking

By booking, you agree to our no smoking or vaping inside a Wander or a Wander Tesla.


Damage and Disclaimers

If anything is damaged when you arrive, you agree to let Concierge know via text at 737-377-3205 on the day of your arrival. You are responsible for any damage to the home, furniture, equipment or Tesla during your stay. You operate the Tesla, gym equipment, pools, hot tubs, saunas, and all amenities at your own risk. You are solely responsible for the well-being of you and your party during your stay, including supervising children on the property and while swimming. You agree all activities are at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for staying away from cliff-edges, swimming safely, and following local laws. 

Flames

Open flames including candles are prohibited. Exceptions are birthday candles on a cake, or fire in a designated fire pit or fireplace provided by Wander. 

Check-in / Check-out

You can check-in anytime after 4:00 pm. Check-outs happen before 10:00 am. To ensure we have enough time to get the home cleaned to Wander standards for the following guest, we can’t accommodate early check-in or late check-out. Events

By booking, you agree any events or professional projects must be confirmed with Concierge first. By booking an event, you understand we require a deposit, event rates, and a contract. To get rolling email hello@wander.com. 

Discounts and Promotions

Discounts and promotions can only be applied during the check out process within the Wander ecosystem.

Discounts and promotions cannot be applied to past stays or stays already booked. 

Promotions cannot be applied to a trip that was cancelled then re-booked for the same dates. 

Promotions cannot be transferred to credits or cash.

Police

By booking, you agree if the Police visit the Wander home during your stay, the Police and Wander have the right to have you and anyone staying with you vacate the Wander home with no credits or refund.
