Can I ship some gear to the house before my stay? Absolutely! However, please note that deliveries are at your own discretion; Wander will not be held liable for lost, stolen, or tampered items or packages.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that delivery will fall during your stay dates in order to prevent disturbing the guests at the house before and after your trip. Should your package arrive on a day that doesn’t fall during your trip, a $50 fee will be charged for our runner's fee.

This is a pet-friendly home. To adhere to the "Good Neighbor Policy," please remember to keep your dogs on a leash when outdoors, and don't forget to clean up their waste. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.

If you are planning a stay with us during snowy weather, we strongly recommend arriving in a 4WD vehicle with snow protection on wheels, as roads leading to the property may be icy during this time. Ensuring your vehicle is equipped to handle winter conditions and driving carefully will help make your arrival as smooth and safe as possible.
- **Cell service**:There may be poor cell coverage around the area. We recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand, which is available on the “Trips” tab in the Wander app. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
- **No smoking**:Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
- **Air conditioning**:This home has no AC, but you may adjust or turn off the heat using the thermostat. Fans are provided to help in regulating the home's temperature. Note, however, that there is no ceiling fan in the fitness center.
- **Wildlife warning**:Bear and moose season runs from July to mid-November, so you might encounter these wildlife roaming around near the property. Please exercise caution and follow our guidelines for food and trash disposal. Bringing bear spray is recommended when going out.
As an additional precaution, please ensure all exterior doors remain closed at all times to help prevent wildlife and critters from entering the home.

Woods
There aren’t established pathways leading to the trail in the woods out back, and the area can be unsafe due to bear activity and other wildlife. Walking there without bear spray may be dangerous, so we kindly ask that you use refrain from exploring that area.
Fireplace
Please note that the fireplace inside the home is decorative and should not be used. The home is fully equipped with a reliable central heating system that will keep the space warm and comfortable throughout your stay.
Ice Maker
The refrigerator’s built-in ice maker is temporarily unavailable; however, a dedicated countertop ice maker is provided to ensure uninterrupted service during your stay.
Limited Storage Dressers
Please note that there are limited storage dressers or closets in 2 of the home bedrooms. We recommend packing accordingly, especially for longer stays. A garment bag or travel organizer may come in handy.
Before Accessing the Fitness Center
The modular wall by the garage fitness area is not load-bearing and should not be leaned on for safety reasons.

It is important to only use the remote to operate the shades, as pulling on them can cause them to break.

Before Using the Hot Tub
Important notice for guests: Rinsing off before you go to the hot tub could help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew. Also, don't forget to shower thoroughly using soap and shampoo after using the hot tub, in order to wash off any chemical residue.
Hot tub maintenance: We regularly service the hot tub's water between guests' turnovers to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing & filter cleaning as required.
Shoes on Deck
Please ensure you wear shoes when accessing the deck due to its wooden make.
No Air Conditioning
This home has no AC. However, fans are provided, and the heat can be adjusted or turned off using the thermostat.
Not for Guest-Use
Please note that the living room fireplace, and built-in refrigerator ice maker are not meant to be used by guests. There is a countertop ice maker available as an alternative.
