Shipping Items to the House
Can I ship some gear to the house before my stay? Absolutely! However, please note that deliveries are at your own discretion; Wander will not be held liable for lost, stolen, or tampered items or packages.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that delivery will fall during your stay dates in order to prevent disturbing the guests at the house before and after your trip. Should your package arrive on a day that doesn’t fall during your trip, a $50 fee will be charged for our runner's fee.

This is a pet-friendly home. To adhere to the "Good Neighbor Policy," please remember to keep your dogs on a leash when outdoors, and don't forget to clean up their waste. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.

While the house has fast WiFi, cell phone service is limited in Big Sur. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or building. Also, cell networks periodically go offline in Big Sur.
It's always a good idea to take screenshots of door codes and wifi passwords before your trip. This way, you'll have easy access to these important details whenever you need them.

This home contains features that may be difficult for mobility-challenged guests, including climbing stairs and and crossing a dirt trail to navigate the property. Guests with mobility concerns are encouraged to review the access details carefully prior to booking. Please reach out to Concierge if you would like additional information regarding mobility considerations throughout different areas of the property.
Outdoor Trail
A dirt path on the west side of the home provides access to the second-floor living area and hot tub. The trail includes one or two small steps and uneven terrain. Please use caution when walking the path, especially at night or during wet conditions. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Only activities consistent with normal residential use are permitted at this home. Commercial activities, including professional photography or film shoots, are not allowed.

Before Using the Shades
It is important to only use smart home controls in the app or the remote to operate the shades, as pulling on them can cause them to break.

Two living room shades are non-operational, but the rest can be operated normally.
Before Using the Thermostat
When air units are on, please keep doors and windows closed so the air units don’t break. If you’d like windows or doors open, turn off the thermostat to prevent the unit from breaking.
Before Using the Toilet
Please do not flush products other than toilet paper down the toilet (not even 'flushable' items).
Before Using the Hot Tub
Important notice for guests: Rinsing off before you go to the hot tub could help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew. Also, don't forget to shower thoroughly using soap and shampoo after using the hot tub, in order to wash off any chemical residue.
Hot tub maintenance: We regularly service the hot tub's water between guests' turnovers to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing & filter cleaning as required.
Access: The hot tub is accessible through the master bedroom. There are no other access points to get to the hot tub.
