- **Thomas Cole National Historic Site**: Thomas Cole was a painter who led America’s first major art movement, now known as the Hudson River School. The site offers guided tours of special exhibits, the Main House, and the Old Studio.
- **Hudson Hall at the Historic Hudson Opera House**: The hall boasts vibrant summer music festivals as well as themed musical performances throughout the year. Please check requirements online before your trip as proof of COVID-19 vaccine and mask may be required during your visit.

- **Safety notice**: <p>Due to ongoing dry weather, several local towns have implemented a burn ban. Please remain FIRE AWARE, as gusty winds and extremely dry conditions pose a heightened risk. We recommend refraining from any outdoor burning until conditions improve with anticipated rain.</p>
- **Pets allowed**: <p>This is a pet-friendly home. To adhere to the "Good Neighbor Policy," please remember to keep your dogs on a leash when outdoors, and don't forget to clean up their waste. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities. <br><br>Please read up on the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="in-cell-link" href="https://www.wander.com/rules">Wander Rules page</a> for more information on our pet policies.</p>
- **Pool heating**: <p>The pool is open during the warmer months from mid-April to October 14th. If confirmed available, there is a $150/day fee for pool heating at this home.</p><p>Once the heating fee is settled, the pool will be set to an auto-non-adjustable 77-82°F degrees to avoid bacterial growth.</p><p></p><p>Please contact the Concierge team at least 72 hours before your arrival if you want the pool heated for your stay between the months mentioned.</p><p></p><p><strong>Note</strong>: Pool service is scheduled every Tuesday at Wander Hudson Ridge. While we aim to minimize any inconvenience, please be aware that the service team may need to access the pool area briefly during your stay.</p>

- **Amenity notice**: <p><strong>Before Using the Shades</strong><br>It is important to only use the remote to operate the shades or app control if available, as pulling on them can cause them to break. You may refer to the home manual below to see more instructions on how to use the shades. Please contact Concierge for any issues.<br><br><strong>Before Using the Thermostat</strong><br>When air units are on, please keep doors and windows closed so the air units don’t break. If you’d like windows or doors open, turn off the thermostat to prevent the unit from breaking.<br><br><strong>Before Using the Hot Tub and the Pool</strong><br><u>Important notice for guests:</u><strong> </strong>Rinsing off before you go to the hot tub or pool could help us clear the water of impurities for you and your crew. Also, don't forget to shower thoroughly using soap and shampoo after using the hot tub, in order to wash off any chemical residue.<br><br><u>Maintenance: </u>We service the pool and hot tub's water every Tuesday to ensure it remains clean and healthy. This includes chemical balancing (chlorine/bromine and other chemicals), skimming, vacuuming, and tub brushing &amp; filter cleaning as required.<br><br><strong>Using the Pool and Hot Tub Cover</strong><br>Please keep the pool and hot tub covers on when not in use to maintain cleanliness and prevent the water from evaporating. No pets are allowed on the pool cover.<br><br><strong>Using the Outdoor Shower</strong><br>Please note that during the winter season, the water for this shower is turned off to prevent burst pipes.<br><br><strong>Before Using the Toilet<br></strong>Please do not flush products other than toilet paper down the toilet (not even 'flushable' items).<br><br><strong>Hot Water</strong><br>You may notice a temporary sulfur-like odor when running hot water from the sinks or showers. This can occasionally occur due to routine water system or heater maintenance. Running the hot water for a short period should help clear the odor.</p>
