Can I ship some gear to the house before my stay? Absolutely! However, please note that deliveries are at your own discretion; Wander will not be held liable for lost, stolen, or tampered items or packages.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that delivery will fall during your stay dates in order to prevent disturbing the guests at the house before and after your trip. Should your package arrive on a day that doesn’t fall during your trip, a $50 fee will be charged for our runner's fee.

- **Wildlife warning**:

The desert is home to a variety of amazing creatures, including coyotes, insects, mice, snakes, and other wildlife. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed. 

- **Noise**:

Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties or creating excessive noise during your stay, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and neighbors. Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited.

- **Privacy**:

During your stay, staff may occasionally access the property for scheduled landscaping, routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs, inspections, and pool or hot tub servicing.

Please expect pool and spa maintenance to be on the property on Wednesdays to clean, inspect and service the hot tub or pool. They will not approach the house, just check on your water amenity. Landscaping services are scheduled on the same day.

This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.

When air units are on, please keep doors and windows closed so the air units don’t break. If you’d like windows or doors open, turn off the thermostat to prevent the unit from breaking.

The fireplaces in this Wander are only available for use during the colder months.

Guest House Access

This booking includes access to a main house and guest house. Please note that amenities are split between these two spaces. There are two bedrooms in the main house, and two in the guest house.

Off-Site Amenities

There is no pool on the property grounds, but your booking will include access to the pool at Reset Hotel, as well as a an off-site pickleball court.

- **Trails**:

Many roads in the high desert are dirt roads. Although a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not required, drive slowly and watch out for ruts on the road, especially after rain.

- **No smoking**:

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

Hosting parties and events is strictly not allowed without prior approval.

No Commercial Photography & Filming
Unauthorized commercial photography or filming is not permitted.

Prohibited Items

Firearms, wax candles, and drones are not allowed on the property to respect neighbors and the fragile nature of the desert ecosystem.

Power Outages

Due to the rural nature of the High Desert, occasional power outages may occur. You will promptly be informed of any planned service interruptions. Please note that refunds or discounts will not be issued for unplanned power outages.

Check-In & Checkout Policy

Guest access begins at 4 PM on check-in day and ends at 11 AM on check-out day, unless approved in writing in advance. Check-in after 9 PM is not allowed without prior approval. Unauthorized early arrivals or late check-outs will incur a fee of 50% of the nightly rate.

Maximum Occupancy
The number of people on the property may not exceed the number of guests in your reservation confirmation plus two (regardless of whether they are staying the night or just visiting). Additional guest fees starting at $65 per person per night will apply for any unauthorized persons.

Recreational Vehicles & Accommodation

Recreational vehicles, motorcycles, camping, or other overnight accommodations outside the property are not allowed. Violations of this policy will result in termination of the reservation with no refund.

Trespassing

Feel free to take walks around the property. However, please be mindful not to enter neighboring yards or private areas, as this would be considered trespassing.

- **Pets allowed**:

This is a dog-friendly home, with a maximum of two dogs permitted. Cats are not allowed. Keep a very close watch on your pets outside, and don't forget to clean up their waste. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.

Unless the backyard is fully fenced, dogs must remain on a leash at all times. This is both for their safety—protecting them from cacti, coyotes, and other hazards—and to prevent them from wandering into neighboring properties.
