Ahoy matey, so you want to travel back in time 300 years to the Golden Age of Piracy, aye? Well shiver me timbers, come on down to the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum where you can enjoy over 40 exhibits with nearly 800 authentic pirate artifacts from the 1600s.

Potter’s Wax Museum is Florida’s version of Madame Tussauds museums, featuring over 160 wax figures of renowned historical figures. Here you can snap a picture with idols like Princess Diana, Albert Einstein, and even Harry Potter.

Tickets are $14.90 per adult, $8.51 for children aged 8 to 12, and free for children aged 3 and under. 

St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

Close all of your fitness watch rings by climbing up the 200+ steps to the top of the lighthouse to take in the spectacular view of the surrounding landscapes. But, do keep an eye out—legend says that the lighthouse is haunted.

Meanwhile, the museum showcases hundreds of artifacts from land and sea, dating as far back as the mid-1800s. General admission is $14.95 per adult and $12.95 per child.

You can also opt for a guided ghost tour if you prefer a spooky experience—prices vary depending on the type of tour you select.

Old Jail Museum

From the 1890s through the 1950s, the Old Jail was home to St. Augustine’s criminals. Today, you can visit the facility and learn more about the prison’s history from expert guides who dress up in colonial costumes and accompany you through the cellars.

The jail also has a collection of weapons and artifacts on display for visitors. Entry tickets are $15.96 per adult, $9.09 for children aged 4-12, and free for children 3 and under. 

World Golf Hall of Fame

If you’re a golf fanatic, you won’t want to miss this museum! This attraction is on the outskirts of the city, but worth the trip if you're a golfer.

The World Golf Hall of Fame showcases permanent and rotating collections celebrating famous golfers throughout history. The Museum experience also features an IMAX golf film and an 18-hole course. Tickets are $20/95 per adult and $5 for children 5-12.
