Local breweries are the talk of the town in Asheville. But beyond the standard experience, we also have some suggestions on how to enjoy a cold one in a fun and unique way. Be sure to stop by these local breweries during your stay in Wander Asheville Meadows.

No trip to Asheville is complete without a visit to a local brewery. With this tour, you can visit five of Asheville's most popular microbreweries to have a drink or two—on an e-bike.

Zillicoah Beer sits on 4 acres of riverfront land just 2 miles outside downtown Asheville. They specialize in open-fermented lagers and ales and have a variety of what they call ‘’mixed-culture’’ beers, which you just need to try in order to understand what they mean.

Small but mighty, New Origin Brewing Company’s stylish modern-industrial vibe pairs well with its new-school and experimental brews. Visit their website for specials and events, including goat yoga! Pets are also welcome.

If you are new to the area, there is no better way to see the city for the first time than LaZoom Tours. They offer a band and beer tour, a city comedy tour, as well as a ghosted after dark tour.

The band and beer experience is held in a funky purple bus that takes you around town. The bus stops at 3 breweries – Highland Brewing, New Belgium, and The Wedge.

Each stop is approximately 30 minutes but the entire tour will last around 3 hours. This experience is great if you want to enjoy a cold brew and some live music to boot.
