From start to finish this was an amazing stay! A perfect location for two families to share a long weekend! We enjoyed coffee on the deck with amazing views of the ponds and wildlife and cozying up at night by the fireplace to read and play games. We were able to explore the property's vast trails during an afternoon hike (with our dog) and relaxed in the hot tub that evening. Even on the rainy day we were able to sit in the all seasons room and enjoy the covered deck. More than enough in the game room to keep kids and adults entertained in this well-maintained and updated home. The bunk beds were a favorite of the young cousins! So many memories made. Spacious but also cozy. We had everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful escape. We could not ask for better hosts. Incredibly communicative and responsive. We were provided with ample information We will definitely be returning! Thank you for hosting us!

We opted for an Ohio vacation this year instead of an ocean beach vacation, and this week was nothing short of amazing! The house is incredible with spacious, stylish rooms, pristine bathrooms, huge kitchen with modern appliances, and a game room for added fun. And then while you're still in awe of the inside, you step outside. Frisbee Golf fun, the most unique firepit we've ever see with wooden swings, the amazing view and all the fun you can imagine on the pond paddle-boarding and kayaking, and then cornhole and a hot tub. We were nine adults and we all gave this place two thumbs up!

Our immediate family gathered at the Hideaway’s Main Cabin for a 50th wedding anniversary. The space was perfect for what we wanted and had plenty of room to spread out inside and out with multiple gathering areas. We loved the ponds for both swimming and fishing; enjoyed the hot tub and added features of the movie room, sauna and cold lounge (all used daily); were entertained from ages 2-72 with games galore; and everyone slept great on the most comfortable mattresses and bedding! Home was well equipped with kitchen necessities and easily set up to accommodate our party of 12. Hosts were top tier with all the little added touches—snacks upon arrival, soaps and lotions, swimming and showering towels, Bluetooth speaker, outdoor equipment and games to enjoy, and excellent communication before and during our stay. We have done multiple mini vacations with our family before and several commented that this was the best yet—just super easy and relaxing and fun! I would recommend the Hideaway for any type of retreat or gathering or getaway and think it’s an awesome place to unwind and experience nature and spend quality time with one another. Very peaceful setting where you immediately feel right at home.
