You’re staying on 80 private acres in the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina in Big Sandy Mush. Enjoy hiking trails, a creek, farm animals, fire pit, and a private hot tub—all surrounded by nature. The property is rural and wonderfully secluded, so come prepared to slow down, unplug, and enjoy the quiet. Asheville is a short scenic drive away for dining, shopping, breweries, and entertainment.

The entire House and entire property, all 80 acres are available to our guests with the exception of 1 small marked fenced in area on top of the mountain farm.

The Victorian farmhouse is even prettier in person! The house is very spacious and well appointed. The 80 acre property is no joke. We went on several hikes without having to leave the property. Getting to the top of the 'hill' to see the animals was a definite treat. Donna and Glenn are wonderful and really dedicate to hosting. Donna was so kind to let me borrow her personal crock-pot for the weekend and Glenn gave my husband and I a tour of the property on his ATV, pointing out several interesting areas and plants. We had an amazing time and look forward to staying here again.

We stayed at the farmhouse because my daughter got married on the farm next-door.. We could not have asked for a nicer home. The old farmhouse has been totally renovated and everything was beautiful. The host thought of everything. There were three sitting rooms for people to gather inside, and a large patio in the back. There was plenty of room for family and friends to stop by and visit. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything you might need. The gardens have been beautifully done and the backyard was well lit with a nice fire pit. The hot tub was a great addition after a long day. It was nice to stay at a house that was so comfortable that you wish you could just live there. I would definitely return.

We had a fantastic time. Lots to do in Asheville. The house was beautiful and relaxing, with thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed walking the property to find the chickens and goats, chatting with our generous hosts, playing chess and pool, roasting marshmallows, soaking in the hot-tub, and relaxing by the fireplace. Everything was perfect.
