You’re staying on 80 private acres in the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina in Big Sandy Mush. Enjoy hiking trails, a creek, farm animals, fire pit, and a private hot tub—all surrounded by nature. The property is rural and wonderfully secluded, so come prepared to slow down, unplug, and enjoy the quiet. Asheville is a short scenic drive away for dining, shopping, breweries, and entertainment.

The entire House and entire property, all 80 acres are available to our guests with the exception of 1 small marked fenced in area on top of the mountain farm.

If you are planning a trip to the Asheville area, look no further than this lovingly restored Victorian farmhouse. Close enough to the metro area to arrive in less than half an hour, but nestled away down lovely winding roads to escape into the gorgeous countryside. It was a privilege to stay in this farmhouse, and no detail was skipped in it's restoration. This is one of the cleanest and most comfortable homes I have ever stayed in, and every detail of hospitality was covered! The kitchen in particular was awesome- and we put it to good use!- but the entire house is a gem. We especially loved meeting the owners and meeting/feeding the farm animals! Willy the pig is a HOOT!! Thank you so much for a fabulous vacation getaway, and we would absolutely love to stay here again!!

This home is stunning, probably the most beautiful air B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The house is set on a quiet property that is huge and walkable. We walked up to see the animals and met Donna who was so kind and friendly. The home is well equipped with all that you can need for the stay and Donna was very responsive and communicated daily for any needs we had. They did an incredible job with the remodel of this historic house, everything was well thought out and tasteful, made us feel right at home!! It’s about a 25-30 min drive from downtown Asheville, takes about 15-20 min to get off the mountain and to the nearest grocery store but that worked well for us as we wanted a quiet and peaceful stay. We really loved our time here, it was perfect for our girls weekend!

The Victorian farmhouse is even prettier in person! The house is very spacious and well appointed. The 80 acre property is no joke. We went on several hikes without having to leave the property. Getting to the top of the 'hill' to see the animals was a definite treat. Donna and Glenn are wonderful and really dedicate to hosting. Donna was so kind to let me borrow her personal crock-pot for the weekend and Glenn gave my husband and I a tour of the property on his ATV, pointing out several interesting areas and plants. We had an amazing time and look forward to staying here again.
