The block is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, office towers and evening activity; ideal for guests who want a compact, walkable downtown stay.

Highly walkable — many downtown destinations (Market Square, PPG Place, Point State Park, theater district) are 5–15 minute walks. Light rail (Pittsburgh Regional Transit) stops serving downtown include Gateway, Steel Plaza and Wood Street, all within a few blocks. Multiple bus routes serve Smithfield/Liberty corridors. Taxis and rideshares are widely available; on-street and nearby public garages provide paid parking. For bike/pedestrians, the Three Rivers Heritage Trail runs nearby along the riverfront.
