About the property

Welcome to Crescent Moon Retreat!

Escape to this spacious and stylish 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath getaway designed with families and groups in mind. From the open-concept living space to the fully stocked kitchen, every corner is made for comfort and connection. Unwind around the cozy fire pit, soak in the outdoor hot tub under a blanket of stars, or enjoy access to the nearby clubhouse featuring a year-round heated pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a splash zone just for the kids.

Crescent is one of those places that leaves a lasting impression on your vacation memories. It is nestled on a tree-covered lot just minutes from local trails, two miles from Lead, skiing at Terry Peak, and gaming and entertainment in Deadwood. The Mickelson Trail and Snowmobile Trail #5 are adjacent to Powder House Pass (PHP) on its eastern and western edges, making this location very convenient for riding ATVs and snowmobiles. The cabin features a large gravel lot right by the house for four or more trailers and RVs. Your ATVs, motorcycles, or snowmobiles will fit nicely in the oversized three-car attached garage. The driveway will accommodate six automobiles.

Powder House Pass is located just two miles South of Lead, five miles from Terry Peak Ski Resort, and five miles from the excitement of Deadwood. PHP is an upscale housing development that boasts all paved roads and a community/meeting Center with two swimming pools and a toddler fountain area. One of the pools is open year-round and open to guests. Hiking at Bridal Veil Falls and golfing at Boulder Canyon Golf Club are also minutes away, while the major attractions like Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, and more are within an hour's drive from the cabin.

The cabin boasts a fantastic open floor plan perfect for entertaining, with the living room, dining room, and kitchen all connected. The kitchen has high-end appliances like a wine fridge, a five-burner gas stove with an oven, and a three-door fridge (and a second full-size fridge in the garage for any overflow), making it easy to prepare meals with your loved ones. The living room has a large TV and a gas fireplace, great for kicking your feet up and enjoying a relaxing night in. Hughes Net, Dish Network.

Upstairs, you will find a sizeable primary suite with a king-size bed, a television, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with a soaking tub, and a walk-in nine-shower-head shower stall. A second, smaller primary suite is a standard-size bedroom with a queen bed, a TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. Two more bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds without television, a shared bathroom, and a laundry.

The fifth bedroom is on the main level and features a bunk bed with two double beds. The half bath is also on the main level. Additional perks include a Pack 'n Play, a high chair, central heat and air, a gas fireplace, and board games.

The home's deck/patio space offers a great area for sitting out, grilling, and catching up with friends. When you aren't hanging out here, head for the brand-new, seven-person hot tub!

Note: A propane grill is provided for your enjoyment. While we supply a propane tank, please note we do not refill the tank or clean the grill between stays. You're welcome to use them during your visit, just bring any supplies you may need and enjoy!

TVs are in both master bedrooms upstairs and the bunkbed room downstairs, but not in the two other upstairs bedrooms.

You will have access to the entire house and property during your stay.

We’re available to help from 7 AM to 10 PM every day via call, text, or message. After hours, we switch to emergency-only mode, phone calls only, please. And fair warning: I’m a heavy sleeper, so you might need to call twice to wake me up! 😴📞
