Escape to our Lake Arrowhead retreat 'Little Bear Chalet'! This chalet is a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom private family home in the exclusive town of Blue Jay in Lake Arrowhead. This three-level retreat is located on a quiet cul-de-sac street nestled up on the hillside in the pine trees with beautiful mountain and treetop views. The private home comfortably sleeps 6 adults plus 4 children with plenty of additional space to relax and unwind. Enjoy air conditioning, a game room with arcade game and a pool table! Perfect for families or groups seeking relaxation and entertainment in our serene mountains which back up to numerous hiking trails of the San Bernandino Forest! Short drive to Lake Arrowhead and the private lake trails with our lake trail and beach club passes! Our chalet was designed with relaxation and escape in mind to revitalize your group from everyday stresses.
LAKE ARROWHEAD TRAIL ACCESS: We will register your group and have 2 ALA passes which allows 5 guests per pass (A total of 10) to access the private walking trails around the lake. Once entering the walking trails you will see docks, the docks are private, BUT, the little beaches in between the docks can be used by guests:). There are several guest lake access points around the Lake. You can also fish from the walking trail or any of the sandy areas around the trail.
The private beach clubs (Burnt Mill and Tavern Bay are private) and only accessible by the home owners. There is no public rentals. You can take a waterskiing class through the Mckenzie water ski school in the village.
EXTENDED DESCRIPTION BEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Bedroom 1: Large primary bedroom on the 3rd floor with king size bed, small couch, 65" Smart TV, large walk in closet and private patio. Spacious newly renovated bathroom on this level with dual sinks and large walk in shower.
Bedroom 2: Located on the 3rd floor a Queen bed.
Bedroom 3: 2 bunk beds, great for kids! Shared bathroom with Bedroom 4 with tub shower and large vanity.
Bedroom 4: Another queen bedroom on 2nd floor with shared bathroom.
GAME ROOM-
Perfect for both adults and children the downstairs game room has a pool table (can convert to ping-pong table), a game/card table, Buck Hunter arcade, seating area, large TV and fireplace with its own private patio area to enjoy the nature.
KITCHEN:
Gather all of your family and friends around this remodeled gourmet eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, a 5 burner gas range, and a large oven.
LIVING/DINING:
Dine and relax in this well appointed vacation home. Plenty of seating in the living room around the fireplace, or at the dining table to eat or play a board game or puzzle. Not to mention beautiful cathedral ceilings with large glass bay windows to take in the gorgeous mountain and tree views. Turn on the 75"' Smart TV perfect for watching a big game or relaxing at the end of the day with a great movie.
OUTSIDE:
Private decks expand from almost every room including a spacious deck expanding from the living room to BBQ, dine or have a cup of coffee and take in the peaceful views.
INCLUDED WITH YOUR VACATION HOME:
All of our vacation rentals are fully furnished with Smart Tv's offering Hulu and streaming services capability along with high speed WiFi (Free WiFi). Kitchens are equipped with appliances including a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, crock pot, Keurig and traditional drip coffee maker (ground beans), toaster and blender.
KITCHEN:
Properties are equipped with the following items to accommodate the max occupancy of the home: basic dining, cooking and serving essentials including plates, bowls, silverware, wine and drinking glasses, cooking utensils and kitchen accessories such as can opener, wine opener, measuring spoons and more. We also provide a spice rack, salt and pepper. No other cooking essentials or supplies are provided (oil, sprays or other cooking ingredients, foil, cling wrap, etc.).
HOUSE SUPPLIES:
Your home will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry pods and dryer sheets.
OTHER ITEMS:
The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and beach towels to accommodate the max occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. There is also a designated laundry area with washer and dryer.
LAKE ACCESS:
We will register your group and have 2 ALA passes which allows access to the Tavern Bay Beach Club and Burnt Mill Beach Club, the various private parks and the walking trails around the lake.
LOCATION:
Located in the exclusive town of Blue Jay in Lake Arrowhead. The town of Blue Jay itself is a few minutes drive away where there is a variety of dining, Jensen's Grocery and Starbucks. Drive a few minutes more to Lake Arrowhead Village with more shops, dining, and seasonal entertainment like summer concerts and holiday festivities. Our lake passes for guests allow access around the private trails on the lake and beach club access to Tavern Bay and Burnt Mill Beach Clubs. For those looking to hit the slopes, Snow Valley is about 17 miles away, if there is no snow to jump around in right outside the door! Our house backs up to the beautiful hiking trails of the San Bernardino National Forest.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have access to the entire home. The chalet is accessible using a keyless system that allows entry into the home through your entire stay. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier so that you can start your vacation as soon as possible!
