Getting around
Most travel is by car; the area is car-dependent but short drives connect to downtown Driggs (5–10 minutes) and neighboring towns (Victor ~10–15 minutes). Local private shuttles and resort shuttles operate seasonally between Driggs, Grand Targhee and regional airports. Driggs-Reed Memorial Airport (general aviation) is within a few miles for private flights. Nearest commercial airports: Jackson Hole (JAC) ~40–45 miles / ~45–60 minutes, Idaho Falls (IDA) ~60–75 miles / ~1–1.5 hours, Salt Lake City (SLC) ~4 hours. Limited fixed-route public transit; regional commuter/start bus services and seasonal shuttles provide connections over Teton Pass to Jackson.
