Historic Johnson Village is 5 minutes away with numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and other attractions. The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is a popular public trail for cycling, running, walking, and snowmobiling that runs through Johnson and can be accessed less than 5 minutes from the property. Lamoille Valley Bike Tours is located in Johnson and offers bike rentals and guided cycling tours. Butternut Mountain and Sterling Mountain are popular hiking & snowshoeing routes in town.

In addition to the attractions in Johnson, the general area offers many attractions and activities that Vermont is famous for including farm stands, maple sugar shacks, outdoor recreation, and world-class breweries. Even when the property is full, these amenities are typically quiet and uncrowded.

The hot tub is open year-round. River access and swimming are at your own risk. Winter tires or all-wheel drive are recommended during snowy conditions.
