About the property

The A-frame is one of several thoughtfully spaced accommodations at Uncommon Accommodations, a 14-acre riverside retreat. Your treehouse is completely private, while the hot tub, sauna, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and river access are shared with a small number of other guests. Even when the property is full, these amenities are typically quiet and uncrowded.

We provide high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the property. The treehouse is ideal for one or two adults. Please note that the loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Guests have full private access to the A-frame treehouse via a keypad lock, including the private deck and all indoor amenities. You'll park just steps from the entrance, with an EV charger available on the property. Enjoy shared access to an on-site hot tub, and head down to the Lamoille River for a refreshing swim or peaceful spot to cast a fishing line. Whether you're here to relax, explore, or simply unwind in nature, everything you need is close at hand.

Guests enjoy self check-in via a keypad for a smooth, contactless arrival. I give guests plenty of privacy but am always available by message if you need anything before or during your stay. Whether you have questions, need local tips, or run into any issues, I'm happy to help!

Tucked away in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains, the A-frame is part of Uncommon Accommodations—a unique riverside property just minutes from the village of Johnson. You'll find local cafés, breweries, galleries, and shops nearby, plus easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, and covered bridges. Centrally located between Stowe, Smugglers’ Notch, and Jeffersonville, this spot is perfect for exploring the best of Northern Vermont while enjoying a peaceful, wooded escape.

A car is recommended for getting around and exploring the area. You'll have free parking right in front of the A-frame, and an EV charger is available on the property. We're centrally located between Stowe and Smugglers’ Notch, with scenic drives in every direction. In winter, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended due to Vermont’s snowy conditions and the hill in our driveway.
