About the property

Welcome to Uncommon Accommodations, a collection of unique stays on a 14-acre riverside retreat just minutes from Stowe. This luxury geodome features sweeping Green Mountain views, a Vermont Castings fireplace, mini-split heating and AC, and a plush queen bed. Explore 2,000 feet of river frontage, then unwind in the shared hot tub, treehouse sauna, or outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill and pizza oven before sleeping beneath the stars.

Set on 14 private acres along the Lamoille River, the geodome offers a peaceful balance of comfort, privacy, and connection to nature. Large panoramic windows frame beautiful mountain views while the wood-burning fireplace creates a warm, inviting atmosphere in every season. Outside, guests have access to wooded walking trails, riverfront swimming holes, and a collection of thoughtfully designed shared amenities including a year-round hot tub, treehouse barrel sauna, outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill, pizza oven, sink, and covered dining area, and a riverside fire pit. Although these amenities are shared with a small number of other guests, the property is spacious and designed to provide a quiet, relaxing experience.

Guests have full access to the private 16’ geodome, including all indoor amenities: queen memory foam bed, Vermont Castings indoor propane fireplace, mini-split system, and porta potty for a bathroom. Outside, enjoy the shared hot tub, firepit areas, and the brand-new treehouse sauna. Explore the 14-acre property, including wooded trails, river frontage with swimming holes, and sweeping Green Mountain views. Parking is on-site and the space is yours to enjoy in privacy.

We respect your privacy and give you space to fully enjoy the dome and property. We’re available remotely via phone or Airbnb message for any questions, local recommendations, or assistance during your stay. On-site staff are present for routine maintenance of shared amenities (hot tub, sauna, firepit) but will not intrude on your experience.

The geodome offers a glamping experience that is intentionally immersed in nature. A clean, well-maintained porta-potty is provided for restroom use, and a private outdoor shower is available seasonally from approximately May through October. Running water is not available during the colder months.

The property is accessible year-round, although winter tires or four-wheel drive are recommended during snowy conditions.

The hot tub, treehouse barrel sauna, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and river access are shared with a small number of guests staying elsewhere on the property. These amenities are typically quiet and uncrowded.

This is an adults-focused retreat designed for guests seeking relaxation, outdoor adventure, and a memorable Vermont experience just minutes from Stowe.

Our 5th visit to Uncommon Accommodations and our first staying in the Geodome. Such a great experience and arguably the best location on the property for views. A small but very cozy setting. Tyler always great to work with, highly recommend trying the Geodome.

The geodome was a great first glamp for my wife and I. It was comfortable, had great atmosphere, and had great amenities. We really enjoyed the tree house sauna. Definitely consider the geodome or another of Tyler's options if you are looking for stay near Stowe.

We were so impressed with the view, the space, and the amenities. The grounds are not so private - there are many rentals on the same property very close to each other - but this dome has a back yard area that is semi-private, and the other renters were respectful and quiet. The river was beautiful and great for a quick swim, the sauna was perfect, the outdoor shower was great, and the indoor space of the dome was absolutely wonderful. It rained a bit on our stay, which was so cool from inside the dome. The AC unit kept it VERY comfortable even during the hottest weather. Will definitely come stay again!
