SECTION 1 — HERO STATEMENT
Angler's Retreat is a private oceanfront estate in South Nags Head — not a typical Outer Banks beach house. Designed for fishing crews, couples, and corporate groups, it accommodates up to 18 guests across three levels built around a singular concept: hotel-grade privacy for every person in your group. Seven King en-suite bedrooms mean seven couples arrive as equals — no negotiating over the best room, no shared bathrooms, no compromises. Outside, a fully fenced 125'x50' oceanfront lawn and a 30'x18' heated pool with built-in swim-up bar serve as the outdoor anchor of the estate.
Pool Heating: Available for $800/week — must be requested at least 3 days prior to arrival. Heat is not included in the base rate.
Flexible 3-night minimum stays are available during select periods — no week-long booking required.

SECTION 3 — THE EXPERIENCE
Seven King en-suite bedrooms give seven couples equal comfort and true primary-suite privacy — each with its own bathroom. There are no compromises, no negotiating over the best room, and no shared bath traffic disrupting the flow of the stay. This layout makes Angler's Retreat exceptionally well-suited for couples traveling together, executive and corporate retreats, sport-fishing crews, and multi-generational families who value privacy.
A single en-suite bunk room is thoughtfully placed for children, keeping adult spaces quiet and refined. The ground level's entertainment spaces — private theater, game room, kitchenette, and resort-style pool deck — give the group a place to gather without disrupting those who have turned in for the night.
Following a comprehensive 2025 interior refresh, the home feels crisp, intentional, and refined — not a tired beach house cycling through another rental season. Updated furnishings, fresh finishes, and well-considered details create the kind of environment where arriving feels like checking into a well-run property, not inheriting someone else's beach cottage. Concierge services — private chefs, fishing charter coordination, in-home wellness experiences — are available to elevate the stay through LuxStayUSA.

SECTION 6 — THE ANGLER'S ADVANTAGE
Angler's Retreat sits on what locals call "Angler's Row" — a specific stretch of South Nags Head that earned its name for good reason. The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, the gateway to Gulf Stream billfish, mahi, and tuna, sits approximately 5 minutes south. Pirates Cove Marina is approximately 10 minutes away, offering inshore options for red drum and trout. Wanchese Marina adds a third option without a significant drive. Spring and Fall are the peak fishing windows — the spring tuna run and Fall offshore migration make this one of the most sought-after basecamp locations on the East Coast. The home is positioned to serve as a high-end basecamp: early morning marina departures are stress-free, and the estate is waiting at the end of a long day offshore.
The 7-King en-suite layout is designed for how fishing crews actually travel. Crews come in pairs — couples, partners, co-owners — and the last thing anyone wants after a 12-hour offshore day is to draw straws over who got the better room. At Angler's Retreat, every couple gets the same quality suite with a private bathroom. No hierarchy. No negotiation. The ground-level game room and kitchenette create an end-of-day debrief space without waking the crew who turned in early. The private theater is ideal for reviewing footage, catch records, or planning the next day's run. The chef's kitchen seats 14 — everyone eats together, even after a split charter day.
Most OBX oceanfront estates require 7-night minimums. Angler's Retreat offers flexible 3-night minimum stays during select periods. Whether the group is here for a 3-day tuna run or a 10-day extended season trip, the home works without the constraints of a mandatory week-long booking. Off-season fishing trips, corporate offsites, and extended weekend getaways all qualify. Concierge services — private chefs, fishing charter coordination, in-home wellness experiences — can be arranged through LuxStayUSA.
