Welcome to the Aspen House! Renovated mid-century modern, 2-bedroom 1 bath, single story home. Located in desirable upper Moonridge. Peek-a-boo lake views from deck. Under a mile drive to Bear Mountain! Hiking trails steps from the home.

The Home- 864 square feet of renovated mid-century modern mountain vibes. Located in a quiet area of upper Moonridge. Under a mile to Bear Mountain Resort. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Full kitchen. Beautiful deck area with peek-a-boo lake views. All spaces with waterproof wood style flooring. This home is one level with a ramp to enter the home.
Bedroom 1-Queen sized bed, closet, and dresser.
Bedroom 2- Full/full bunk bed. Street Fighter arcade. Small stackable washer & dryer in closet.
We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, q tips, and floss picks. We do provide limited hand towels and wash cloths. 4 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, and 1 hand towel are provided. (Not for lake use, please bring extra for lake.)
Bathroom- Single vanity, shower, and extra ceiling heater to keep it toasty after showers. Tankless water heater for unlimited hot water.
Kitchen- Open concept kitchen viewing into dining and living area. Apartment sized stainless-steel fridge. Full sized stainless-steel, 5 burner gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher to help you create wonderful meals. If you prefer take-out no worries! Fully stocked with all utensils, dishware, and cookware. A starter pack of paper towels, and trash bags are provided. Along with dish soap, coffee grounds, and sugar.
Coffee set up- 12 cup drip. Coffee grounds and sugar are provided.
Dining- Located in view of kitchen & living area. Table for 4. Additional 3 stools at bar top. Door to outside of the home.
Living room- Large couch with chaise, two bean bag style chairs. Large smart tv to stream your favorite apps. Cabinet for board games. Entry hall tree with bench, to hang coats and take off wet shoes.
Fireplace- Natural wood burning fireplace with gas starter. We do not provide wood. It can be purchased upon filling our check in form to be delivered to the home.
Laundry area- Small stackable located in bedroom 2 closet.
Deck/Patio- Ramp from parking wraps to the front door. With peek- a- boo views of the lake(season depending due to mature tree coverage). Propane grill provided. We provide a tank. Please check it prior to grilling. We replace the tanks once a week. If you do need to refill it, send us a copy of the receipt. We will reimburse you.
Parking- Flat gravel parking for max 2 vehicles. You may need AWD of 4x4 in winter months due to being in the Moonridge area of town. No street parking allowed.
Pets- We allow 2 dogs. This property is not fenced. Please do not let your pets poop/pee on the deck. We prefer pets NOT be allowed on beds and furniture. We do not charge an upfront fee. We will charge for damage, excessive shedding, or not picking up after your animal. No other type of animals or number of animals are allowed regardless of ESA or Service animal status. All animals MUST be disclosed upon booking.
Cooling- Like many homes in Big Bear there is no AC. The main living area has a ceiling fan. Bedrooms have free standing fans available. In summer, open windows at night, close them in the morning to keep the cool air inside. Peak heat is usually 3p-6p.
Heating- This home has central heat & a wood burning fireplace.
Please make sure to read the additional rules section. We believe in setting proper expectations. Many of these rules are set by the city and enforced by their code enforcement. We are required to follow these rules as a part of our permit.

The home is located in a quiet part of upper Moonridge. Closet public transportation is at Bear Mountain Resort .7 miles from the home. Bringing your own vehicle is highly recommended. For public transportation please look up Mountain Transit.
Please note in winter months: The roads are plowed regularly, but you most likely will need 4x4 vehicle and chains. We are not responsible for any weather related travel issues.
There is two cameras on property. Views driveway and door. They are always on, but not monitored 24/7.
Violation of the restrictions will result in eviction without refund.
Our strict cancellation policy is still in affect. Any cancellations requesting full refund, will need to provide proper documentation to the hosting site. We will NOT cancel your reservation for you.
All requests to change date, must be done a minimum of 14 days before your stay. Prices may change due to change of date.
If you instant book, you assume responsibility that all restrictions will be followed. We will not be responsible for any eviction, fine, or inconvenience due to disregarding the restrictions placed for Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City.
City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy must be respected at all times. Please review the city rules. This is required to be listed verbatim.
Do not exceed the occupancy limit (6 including children & infants)
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may
be less than the total maximum occupancy.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED.
No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated
parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The
maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior
sign. (2 vehicles)
No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the
property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music
carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from
10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (Eagle's Nest does NOT have a spa)
Take your furry friend with you. (Eagle's Nest is NOT pet friendly)
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb
surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake
is very dog-friendly!
Take trash to dumpster locations if bins are full or cannot close.
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear
locations: 4190 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.
Consequences
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to
extend common courtesy and neighborly
behavior toward the guests and residents
around them. For those guests who have come
to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility
of the neighborhoods, there are costly and
severe consequences.
Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated
previously is $500 per violation. A second
offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules
and expectations will be evicted without a
refund. In addition, costly citations may be
issued to the reservation holder.

Per city regulations the person who books the home will need to sign the Good Neighbor Policy and agree to all the city rules prior to gaining access to the home. This person booking must be staying on property and verify with ID. No third-party bookings are allowed. We will leave you to enjoy Big Bear, unless any issues arise.
