We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the aspen cabin. My daughters ages 8 and 9 had a great time exploring on the nearby hiking trails and loved having their own room with big bunk beds and a video game machine. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the peaceful and very beautiful surroundings and loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the lake view. The decor was beautiful and every detail of what we may need during our stay was very well thought out. From a fully equipped kitchen with really nice appliances to a brand new bbq that worked perfectly. It was a wonderful summer stay and we thoroughly enjoyed all that big bear has to offer in the summer. But I would absolutely love to stay in the aspen cabin during the winter when there is snow covering everything. I think it would be so stunning and serene. We will 100% be staying at this cabin every chance we get.

July 2026

My family - wife & two daughters 6 & 3 - and I stayed at Mollys place over 4th of July weekend. The house is stylish with modern decor and was spotless. The house is tucked into a hillside covered by trees with a cool lake view through the trees. The lake view was really awesome. We could have probably watched fireworks from the street but we chose to post up at the lake. Beds were very comfortable and the kids enjoyed the bunk bed. They loved playing the Street Fighter arcade. As a parent it’s really cool to see your kids playing an arcade game you played as a kid - and no quarters required! There is a portable AC provided in the living room which we used in the kids room one evening when it had yet to cool down inside. The room was cold in 10 minutes. Really nice. Nights were cold and so were the mornings. A cool thing about this house is it’s walking distance to Skyline Trail, Fall Line trail, and Fern Trail. Great for quick hikes and mountain bike rides. We will be back!

September 2025

I’m so happy with my stay. I needed a peaceful getaway in the trees for a few days with my dog and that’s exactly what I got. The home was cozy and well stocked with lots of places to store my things. The neighborhood was quiet and there is a great network of hiking trails within a minute walk from the house. The bed and couch were cozy. The WiFi was perfect for work. The tv was easy to figure out and I could even play music through it. The temp was just right, though I did use the ceiling fan mid-day. The house is private while being a short drive to town.
