Outdoor Living & Logistics
Deck: Located at the front of the home, complete with two lounge chairs, four armchairs, a propane fire pit, and a grill. We provide propane and check the tanks weekly. If a tank happens to run empty during your stay, you can swap it at a nearby CVS or Walgreens, or fill it yourself. Send us a picture of the itemized receipt and we will happily reimburse you.
Yard Access: You have full access to the 4-foot chain-link fenced front yard. There is no access to the backyard, as it belongs to a neighboring property, but the fence line ensures your privacy in the front yard remains completely undisturbed.
Parking: Flat gravel parking is available for up to 2 vehicles in front of the home. Please note that Big Bear does not allow street parking. To enter the property, you will take a short walk around to the entrance gate.
Accessibility: The main entrance has 6 steps up into the home, and the back door has 3 steps.
We hope we have answered all your questions! If there is anything else you need to know, please feel free to send us a message.
We recommend having your own transportation. There is public transportation which can be found .3 miles from the home. To view this option search Mountain Transit. They also have a free trolley to the main parts of town.
Taxi, Uber, and similar services are hit or miss and should not be relied on.
Reminder- This is the mountains. We do our best to control what we can. We spray and leave bait for pests, do our best to prevent rodents, and remove weeds throughout the year. Most of our homes do have sap producing trees.
