Seasonal Note: Lake Lure Drawdown
Lake Lure is scheduled for a drawdown from Jan 1–Mar 31, lowering approximately 1 ft/day to a total of 12 ft for maintenance, dredging, and dam work. Lake access and usage may be limited during this period. Water levels are expected to return to normal by mid-to-late April.

Practical Details

• This is a private mountain property, so wildlife, insects, leaves, and natural outdoor debris are part of the setting.
• The fully paved driveway does not require 4-wheel drive, though mountain weather can affect road conditions.
• Starlink internet is provided, but rural service may occasionally be impacted by weather.
• The wood-burning fire pit should only be used when conditions are safe and local restrictions allow.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

PET POLICY
Dog-friendly home! Up to two dogs are welcome with a $130 non-refundable pet fee.

QUIET POLICY
This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

EXTENDED STAYS
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid-stay cleaning fees, and trash pick-up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

MILITARY DISCOUNT

LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS
For reservations made within 7 days of arrival, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
