Birch Mirror House at FarAway Pond

Upon check in, Mary was in touch with us on key information and access information. The hot tub was filled and ready for our stay. We were provided with a very clean facility. The snacks and wine were a very nice touch. Mary explained the property size and recommended trails to walk. We very much enjoyed the peacefulness and hospitality. We were here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to enjoy some alone time. This was a picture perfect location. I also got to get out on the pond a couple of times to kayak. It was beautiful!

Overall we highly recommend trying Birch Mirror House for a cozy, relaxing, private stay! We stayed 2 nights, did some hiking at Flume Gorge/Mount Pemigewasset, dinner at Rek-Lis brew pub, dessert at Super Secret Ice Cream, enjoyed the hot tub, and cozied up in the evening watching some TV. The mirror house is cool with all described amenities. Mary Boone and Lisa were very responsive and we had no significant issues. Easy check in and check out. Only minor discrepancy from the listing description was that there is another mirror house visible (quite a ways away) while sitting in the hot tub at Birch Mirror house which did reduce the feeling of privacy somewhat. However, it did not really bother us since the property was quiet at least while we were there. Overall, would highly recommend trying out this fun, highly equipped, unique tiny home. We'd love to come back and see it in the winter; I'm sure it's beautiful and the sauna would be a welcome amenity. Thank you for having us!

This was a beautiful place to stay. The floor to ceiling windows that over looked the water was beautiful! The heated floors... (someone with cold feet i really enjoyed!!)was amazing. The sauna was awesome!! Just somethings to be aware of... If this is an issue for you (not us).. this is a small space and you can clearly hear all "bathroom noise"...Birds do hit the windows especially in the morning..and the bed is tight on one side... again no issues for us but could be for others!! I do wish I knew about their website where you can add on things like breakfast baskets and such.. We really enjoyed our visit from time of booking to leaving!!! this will be a visit again!!!
