Perched high above the boulder-strewn hills of Joshua Tree, Avocado House is a truly one-of-a-kind architectural retreat where sculptural design, cinematic desert views, and elevated indoor-outdoor living come together in unforgettable fashion. Defined by its sweeping curved form and private open-air courtyard, this striking residence offers an experience unlike anything else in the high desert.
At the heart of the home, a dramatic crescent-shaped courtyard creates a private sanctuary open to the sky. Spend your days floating in the custom pool and spa, lounging beneath the home's sweeping architectural canopy, or gathering by the fire pit as the sun sets over endless mountain horizons. Every angle has been intentionally designed to frame light, landscape, and stillness.
Inside, Avocado House is equally immersive. Floor-to-ceiling glass dissolves the line between indoors and out, while a curated collection of design-forward furnishings feels as though it was sculpted specifically for the space. Soft organic forms, rich textures, and muted desert tones echo the architecture itself, creating interiors that seamlessly blend with the surrounding landscape while delivering the comfort of a world-class private retreat.
The open-concept great room flows effortlessly into the chef's kitchen and dining spaces, creating an ideal setting for slow mornings, shared meals, and evenings that stretch long after sunset. Above it all, a lofted entertainment lounge offers a second gathering space complete with a pool table, elevated views across the main living area, and a cinematic vantage point over the desert beyond.
