Surrounded by high-desert beauty and sweeping mountain and valley views, this rustic 2-bedroom home is filled with regional art, vigas, and Southwestern charm. Watch golden sunsets from the stone terrace, gather for meals in the gazebo, and step out your door onto hiking trails, with downtown Santa Fe just a short drive away.
Casa de las Piedras blends authentic Southwestern character with cozy, lived-in comfort. Exposed viga ceilings, stone floors, and a corner kiva-style fireplace set the tone in the main living area, while large windows frame the terrace and the mountains beyond. Whether you are reading on the sofa, enjoying a movie night, or stepping outside for fresh desert air, the home feels grounded in its natural surroundings.

A personal vehicle is required. The home is reached via a dirt road off Old Las Vegas Highway, and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended year-round and required in winter, when the area can receive snow. Please plan accordingly, as tow service is limited in the area.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in consideration of our neighbors.
Guests must be at least 25 years old to book, and only registered guests are permitted.
No smoking, parties, or events.
Pets are welcome (up to two dogs).
This home has limited, partial air-conditioning; the high-desert climate keeps it comfortable, and fans are provided.
Entry is via a lockbox with a key for the steel door inside; please return the key at checkout, as a replacement fee applies if it is lost.
The home is reached by a dirt road with rocky, uneven terrain and multiple steps. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended year-round and required in winter, when guests should be prepared for the possibility of being snowed in, as tow service is limited.
The home is not accessible-friendly and may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.
There is an outdoor patio area with no guardrail and roughly an eight-foot drop; it may not be appropriate for small children.
Please be aware that local wildlife, including snakes, is common in the area.
The kiva fireplaces in the bedrooms are decorative only and not for guest use.
Streaming services are available; please sign in with your own accounts.
Every reservation includes accidental damage protection for added peace of mind.
