About the property

Cedar Ridge is a beautiful three bedroom and two bath house on Truman Lake, and is the perfect place to enjoy the lake. The cabin is two minutes from a boat ramp and has a two car garage to keep your boating and fishing equipment secure. The cabin is sparkling clean and has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, master bedroom and an attached bathroom downstair. Upstairs you'll find two more bedrooms and an additional bathroom. You'll love the porches with their beautiful views and the hiking trails we've blazed on the property. Because we believe in the value of enjoying family and friends, there is no wi-fi or tv in this cabin. But, there is excellent Verizon cell phone service.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

  • Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

  • Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

  • Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

This house was amazing!! Beautiful surroundings on a wooded acreage overlooking the lake. The house was cozy and warm in an extremely cold weather snap. Lots of space for our family to enjoy being together. The layout of the house was perfect from the spacious kitchen, dining and living room open floorplan to the very private bedrooms. The amount of exterior decks was amazing for watching the eagles soaring above. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace so much. The kitchen was great to cook in and still be in talking distance to each other in the open area. This home was very clean and had comfortable beds.

Our family had a great stay. The bedrooms were stocked with extra bedding and towels and the kitchen had everything you could need to bake or cook. The views of the water were beautiful. We felt relaxed and at home. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The location was difficult to find. I would recommend the owner send the drop link to the guests the day of so that they do not get lost.

There currently is a problem with the maps and making the property seem like it is located in Deepwater, MO but it’s actually about 28 mins farther southeast if you’re coming from the direction of Kansas City, MO. Located closer to Truman Lake, other than the map sending us a little of track the property is very beautiful and has a great view over the water and all the hills of southern Missouri. Great communication with the host as they even list their phone number for urgent situations. Also the owner of the property stopped by and was very friendly and even offered to let us use his boat. We felt very at home at this house and had a great peaceful stay. If you need a secluded and quiet getaway with an absolute stunning view this is the place for sure.
