Located in the Cayman Kai / Rum Point area on Grand Cayman’s northeast side, it is about a 50–60 minute drive from Seven Mile Beach and the airport.

ESSENTIALS STARTER PACK
• Kitchen Essentials: Dishwashing liquid and/or dishwasher tabs, plus basic pantry items such as salt, pepper, and coffee filters to get you started.
• Home Essentials: Comprehensive starter pack including shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, a blow dryer, and an iron with board.
• Towels, linens, and beach towels are all provided.

Colonial Kai is located in the sought-after Kaibo Yacht Club Phase II complex in Cayman Kai, offering a quieter island setting while still being close to dining, beach attractions, and excursions. Kaibo Beach Grill and Bar is next door, while Rum Point Beach and Red Sail Sports are just around the corner, approximately a 5-minute drive away.
The Rum Point Water Ferry also runs daily from Kaibo Yacht Club to Camana Bay at Seven Mile Beach, giving guests a scenic alternative to driving across the island.

WATER TAXI & EXCURSIONS
• Catch the water taxi or ferry near the condo for easy access to Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach.
• Explore shopping, dining, nightlife, and beach access once you arrive on the Seven Mile side.
• Snorkelling and diving opportunities are available in the surrounding Cayman waters, including spots near the condo and around Rum Point.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS
The closest grocery stores, including Foster’s Express and Chisholm’s Grocery, are about 15–20 minutes away by car. Grocery delivery is available upon request for added convenience.
Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though gas stations and restaurants remain open, and some gas stations also sell liquor on Sundays.
Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 15 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION
• Car Rentals: Available through Kayak, Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, or Andy’s Rent-A-Car.
• Bus Service: A convenient 5-minute walk to the nearest stop, with regular service along West Bay and Seven Mile Beach.
• A rental car is still recommended for guests who want the most flexibility when exploring Grand Cayman.

ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING
• Second-floor unit with stair access.
• Free parking is available in the complex for one vehicle.

PROMOTIONS
Automatic discounts may apply based on travel dates, including seasonal Stay 7, Pay 6 offers from May 1 to November 1, along with last-minute deals, early booking savings, and extended-stay discounts.
Eligible offers are applied automatically, cannot be combined with other promotions or Repeat Guest benefits, and may be subject to blackout dates from December 17 to January 3.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Detailed arrival information is sent after booking, and the door code is provided 2 days before arrival. Check-in is available anytime after 4:00 PM with pin code access, and guests may arrive as late as needed.
Early check-in is subject to the cleaning schedule following departing guests and can be confirmed with the property manager closer to arrival. Check-out is self-service at 11:00 AM, and late check-out is only available when arranged in advance with the property manager.

SEASONAL NOTE
During Easter week, guests should expect increased local activity and a more lively atmosphere in the Kaibo Kai area, reflecting one of Grand Cayman’s most vibrant holiday periods.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is recommended for extra peace of mind, especially during hurricane season from August through October, to help protect against trip interruptions and weather-related concerns.
