Discover Durango and San Juan Mountains from this boho mountain modern apartment. This unit is light, bright, and ideal place to relax after a day of adventures. Enjoy your coffee with views of surrounding buttes and watch the sunrays light up the hills. There is a well equipped kitchen and the pull-out sofa bed is ideal for small families. The apartment is located above the garage on a 10 acres property with other units on it. Furry friends welcome.
The space has an open studio design. The open-concept kitchen is sure to delight the chef with it's island seating, lounge seating and dining area. The living room has a full size pull-out couch for the kids and a 55" TV. The modern bathroom is newly remodeled and has a walk-in shower. The beautiful copper bed frame has a queen size bed, 45" TV with small fireplace which create a cozy den to snuggle up. There is a washer/dryer combo located in the unit. Additional notes: the internet is provided with by Starlink. Due to the location of the property there is cell phone reception with AT&T, but Verizon is not very reliable.
The apartment has it's own private entrance. There is a parking space designated for guests and the apartment has it's own entry with a flight of stairs to access the apartment. Access to unit #5 is the door to the left of the garage doors.

Lightner Creek Road (County Road 207) is a beautiful canyon surrounded country road with hiking and biking trails just a couple minutes from the house; Dry Fork Trailhead and Lightner Creek Trail head to Twin Buttes Trail Head are a 1.7 mile from apartments.
The road is Lightner Creek Road or County Road 207 is a country road that is paved and the parking lot is right off the road. The quiet road is easy to walk or ride a bike on, but be aware that there are no big shoulders or designated bike lanes. There are trail heads for biking and hiking within a 1/2 mile of property. Downtown Durango is a 12 minute drive. Main attractions: Mesa Verde National Park 35 Minutes; 39 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort; 2 hours to Telluride; 1 hour 15 min to Pagosa Springs; 1 hour 45 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area; 1 hour 11 minutes to Historical Silverton
There is a heater in the garage that heats the garage space during the winter and it can be heard when it's on upstairs. The washer is a washer/dryer combo unit and can be loud when running a wash/spin cycle. We recommend running the load while out and it takes about 3 hours to complete a cycle.
