Step inside and settle into a classic North Georgia cabin with warm hardwood floors, tongue-and-groove wood walls and ceilings, leather furnishings, and a beautiful stone hearth.

The main living area features comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a gas fireplace — a cozy place to come together after a day exploring Ellijay or enjoying the resort.

Upstairs, you’ll find an additional loft with comfortable seating and a large Smart TV, giving your group another place to spread out.

With three levels, there’s room to spend time together without everyone having to be in the same room.

A few things to know before booking Bucky & Doe Doe’s Place:

RESORT LOCATION

The cabin is located inside the gated Coosawattee River Resort and is conveniently situated very close to the Ellington Road gate. This makes coming and going especially easy when you’re heading into Ellijay, grabbing groceries, visiting restaurants, exploring local wineries and orchards, or heading out for a day of adventure.

You get the mountain setting and amenities of Coosawattee without being tucked deep inside the resort.

RESORT AMENITIES

Guests have access to Coosawattee River Resort amenities during their stay, including swimming pools, river access, fishing lakes, pickleball courts, arcade, fitness center, and recreation areas.

Some amenities may have seasonal hours, availability, or community rules outside of our control.

PETS

Dogs are welcome! A pet fee applies. Please follow all resort and property rules regarding pets and keep dogs under control when outside.

WILDLIFE

Deer are frequent visitors throughout Coosawattee and around the cabin. You may also encounter other North Georgia wildlife during your stay. Please enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and never approach wild animals.

FIREPIT

An outdoor firepit is available for guest use. Guests should bring or purchase their own firewood and follow all posted fire-safety rules and local burn restrictions.

HOT TUB

The private 5-person hot tub is available for guest use. Please follow the posted hot tub rules and supervise children at all times.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The cabin has 2 traditional bedrooms. Additional sleeping accommodations include a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a futon in the game room. The cabin can accommodate up to 8 guests.

THREE-LEVEL CABIN

Bucky & Doe Doe’s Place is a three-level cabin, so guests should expect stairs between the different living and sleeping areas.

MOUNTAIN ROADS

Coosawattee is a beautiful North Georgia mountain community with winding and hilly roads. Guests should drive appropriately for weather and road conditions.

Because Bucky & Doe Doe’s Place is located close to the Ellington gate, you won’t have to travel deep into the resort each time you come and go.
