The charming Sand to Forest truly lives up to its name; you'll be surrounded by lush forests while being so close to the beach that you can easily reach it by foot. This dog-friendly retreat offers two levels full of comfort, great amenities, and everything you and your family could need to experience a carefree vacation. On the first and lower level, you'll come across a game room equipped with an inviting sofa, board games, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, and a foosball table; this is the ideal place to hang out after a sunny day at the beach. Two bedrooms and one bathroom can be found here as well. One bedroom features a comfortable king bed and the other a bunk bed with two twins and a separate twin bed. As you climb up the stairs of this family-friendly retreat, you'll reach the main level and living space made up of an open floor plan combining the kitchen, living room, and dining area together. The kitchen is luminous and fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the utensils you could need to come up with savory preparations for the group. The dining table allows up to six people and the breakfast bar adds three more spaces. However, if you'd like to experience an unforgettable breakfast al fresco, the deck offers an outdoor dining area with views of the nearby forest. A gas grill can be found on the deck as well, perfect for cookouts. Back inside, the living room is one of the main relaxation spots inside the house. Kick back on the sofa and stream your favorite Netflix series or movies for an entertaining afternoon, or you might as well grab one of the books available, snuggle up on the armchair, and experience a magical reading time. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite) can be found on this level as well. One king bed, one queen bed, and one double are featured among the three bedrooms. But that's not it! Sand to Forest is a dog-friendly home, which means your dog can tag along too!
What's nearby:
We said this home lives up to its name and you're about to figure out why. The white sands of a seven-mile picturesque shoreline are within walking distance of the home (.7 of a mile), so don't hesitate to pack your best swimming suit, flip flops, and sunscreen. Rockaway Beach is one of the coast's most popular spots for outdoor enthusiasts; boating, fishing, crabbing, sea kayaking and sandcastle building are just a few of the area's star attractions. Downtown is less than a mile away from you and is the ideal place to find a great variety of dining options, the International Police Museum, and Lake Lytle, a great place to fish, swim, kayak, and paddleboard, especially if you're a beginner. The main advantage of this lake is the relatively calm surface it has. During the summer months, take a ride along the historic Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, departing from Rockaway Beach's iconic 'Little Red Caboose.'
