Welcome to Dwell, a light-filled, private one-bedroom guesthouse in Portland’s walkable Woodstock neighborhood. Designed for comfort, quiet, and easy city living, this modern retreat is entirely your own—there are no shared walls, no shared interior spaces, and a fenced private yard where you can relax after a day exploring Portland.
Large windows fill the home with natural light, while comfortable modern furnishings make it easy to settle in for a weekend or an extended stay. The custom kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Miele range, and everything you need to cook at home. Energy-efficient construction and balanced ventilation provide excellent indoor air quality year-round.
The bedroom includes a queen bed. The living room queen sofa bed sleeps two guests. The home accommodates a maximum of four overnight guests.
The bathroom features a beautiful tile shower and truly endless hot water—an especially welcome luxury after a rainy Portland walk, bike ride, or day out in the city.
Step outside to enjoy your fenced yard, a private place for morning coffee, a quiet afternoon with a book, or an evening under the Portland sky.
Dwell is just moments from Woodstock Boulevard, one of Southeast Portland’s best neighborhood streets for casual dining, coffee, groceries, and local character. Pick up pastries or breakfast at Grand Central Bakery, grab pizza and a local beer at Double Mountain, enjoy Hawaiian comfort food at Ate-Oh-Ate, or explore the food carts and coffee at The Heist. Otto’s Sausage Kitchen is a longtime local favorite for picnic supplies, while New Seasons Market makes it easy to stock the kitchen with fresh groceries and local treats.
Although there are two separate rental units on the property, Dwell is a fully independent guesthouse with no shared walls and its own private fenced outdoor space. Another guest party may be staying in the separate unit during your visit, so we ask all guests to be respectful of quiet hours and the residential neighborhood.
Whether you are visiting Portland for food, work, concerts, family, or a relaxed Pacific Northwest getaway, Dwell offers a comfortable, efficient, and private home base in one of the city’s most welcoming neighborhoods.
