Nestled between Amish farms just south of Lancaster City, the Spring House on Big Beaver Creek provides a quiet & relaxing getaway. Located on 5 acres along creek, the Spring House is a private two bedroom guest house that is attached to our family’s home. Relax by the fire pit overlooking the pasture, walk down to the banks of the creek and enjoy the slow moving waters.

-Dating to the 1700’s, the Spring House has served as a summer kitchen, gun shop and apartment before our family refreshed the space in 2021 to transform it into a guest house.
-Guests enter the Spring House through a private porch entrance onto the first floor which includes a bookcase lined open living room with sofa, loveseat and Smart TV. The dining room showcases an exposed stone wall and looks out into the yard through a floor to ceiling picture window.
-The first floor also includes a full bath, fully stocked kitchen with concrete countertops and a butcher block coffee bar and a queen bedroom as well as a laundry closet with washer and dryer.
-The second floor loft includes a bedroom with a queen bed, large closet and half bath. The space is decorated in a modern farmhouse theme that merges the history of the space with modern comforts.
-Please only flush TP down the toilet as we are on septic!
Keyless entry! Access code will be sent the day of your stay
As the Spring House is attached to our family’s home, the comings and goings of our family along with the sounds of our three youngest children are present here. The property is also home to our four chickens and two goats who share the pasture with our two Golden Retrievers. Penny, our mini-goldendoodle, is also out in the yard from time to time exploring and welcoming guests. Two parkings spaces are provided directly in front of the Spring House porch which is equipped with a Weber gas grill.
