Pool Access: Prominence on 30A is centrally located and has a variety of on-site and close by amenities that make this community one of the most highly sought-after vacation destinations in 30A. This community features incredible amenities such as: 2 community pools and a beautiful cabana area for grilling.
PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS:
Location: Prominence is located just east of Seagrove and west of Watersound and Eastern Lake. Seaside and Rosemary are a short car ride away in either direction.
Beach Access: ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.
NEARBY BEACH ACCESS
-Deer Lake State Park (0.6 miles west of Prominence) is the nearest beach access. This park has great amenities including: restrooms, parking for golf carts/bikes/cars, and a beautiful walk along a boardwalk that winds through the natural dunes leading to the beach. The State Park charges a “Day Use Fee” of $3/car or $2/bikes or pedestrians for access and parking. Alcohol is not allowed as it is a State Park. It is a bit of a longer walk from parking area to the beach, but it's a beautiful scenic walk on the long boardwalk with white sand dunes. The State Park Beach is less crowded than any public beach access points.
-Gulf Lakes Estates is a South Walton County beach access (1 mile east of Prominence). Small access that can be easily missed. Parking not available but easy bike ride to the beach.
-Santa Clara is a public beach access located at Bramble Grove Place (about 3.5 miles). This access provides a lifeguard, parking and bathrooms as well as ADA access to the beach.
