Thoughtfully designed to elevate every moment of your stay, Glasco Woodstock treasures the uniquely historic while relishing in modern luxuries. The home dates back to the mid-1800's when Woodstock began to attract artists, actors, dancers, musicians, and circus performers on a quest for open space where they could further develop their craft. Converted from a barn in the 1970's, the home pays homage to Woodstock’s past, while offering guests a design-forward, home-away-from-home experience
A HOME COMPLETE WITH IMAGINATIVE DETAIL
Glasco Woodstock is situated at the end of a long private drive, upon 16 sprawling acres with unobstructed views of the infamous Overlook Mountain. On the property envision old stone walls, hammocks strung between tall trees, and stars reflecting off the pond. No matter the season, adventure awaits: admire autumn’s display of colors on the mountains, bundle up for a walk among snow-covered pines, or dip your toes in the private stream after a sunny afternoon hike.
The home sleeps 16 guests, has 5.5 bedrooms, 7 beds and 3 bathrooms; with 4 deluxe bedrooms and a child loft in the main house, plus a studio space which is included for parties of 10 guests or more, or may be added for an additional fee. The house features a rustic-styled, sun-drenched kitchen connected to a large dining area; three fireplaces which provide cozy warmth on winter nights; and a spacious living room with thirty-foot ceilings, vast windows and skylights inviting you to connect with the lush surroundings. Take in stunning views of Overlook Mountain from the outdoor fire pit or relax in a bubbling hot tub to unwind and admire the night sky.
ENJOY MODERN LUXURIES WHILE RELAXING IN NATURE
There is wifi throughout the house, a Sonos sound system in the living room and four bedrooms in the main house, heat and A/C, and a washer and dryer for any laundry needs. Bring home produce from local farms and play chef in a rustic, sunken kitchen which is fully equipped with a double stack oven, a gas stove-top, a KitchenAid mixer, a Coffee Pot, and pantry essentials including an assortment of local teas and coffee. Grill on the outdoor patio with a propane grill.
