A different way to stay. Three pavilions designed for light, connection, and restoration.
Glass House Sanctuary is a design-forward retreat overlooking Mt. Mansfield. The main pavilion serves as the heart of the property, while a separate lounge pavilion offers space for work, yoga, Pilates, or quiet relaxation. A sauna pavilion completes the experience. Just minutes from Stowe Village and Stowe Mountain Resort, yet designed to feel worlds away.
The main pavilion serves as the heart of the property. A well-appointed kitchenette is integrated into the space, while walls of glass frame views of Mount Mansfield and the surrounding landscape. Natural materials, soft linens, warm wood, and carefully chosen furnishings create an atmosphere that feels comfortable, welcoming, and connected to nature.
A separate lounge pavilion offers space for work, movement, or quiet retreat. Guests can enjoy yoga, Pilates, reading, or simply a peaceful place to relax away from the main living space. A television provides a comfortable spot for movie nights, while mirrored walls and optional red light therapy add another layer to the experience.
The sauna pavilion completes the experience, offering a place to unwind after a day spent exploring Stowe and the surrounding mountains.
Throughout the sanctuary, furnishings and artwork created by Vermont craftspeople reflect a connection to the region and its creative community.
Outdoor spaces are an integral part of the experience. The deck invites slow mornings, quiet afternoons, and evenings spent taking in the view. A fire table on the deck provides a warm place to gather and watch the sunset, while a separate fire pit area offers the opportunity to grill a meal and enjoy an evening outdoors beneath the stars. The thoughtful placement of the pavilions encourages guests to move naturally through the property and experience the changing light, mountain views, and seasons that define life in Vermont.
Reserved exclusively for one guest or couple at a time, Glass House Sanctuary offers private access to all three pavilions: the main living pavilion with a sleeping area, kitchenette, and full bathroom; the sauna; and the office/yoga/Pilates studio.
Located near the end of a quiet half-mile road in Stowe, Glass House Sanctuary is set along its own private approach and surrounded by nature, offering a tranquil sense of seclusion without feeling remote. The entire Sanctuary is reserved exclusively for you to enjoy throughout your stay.
Nearby, guests can discover historic covered bridges, swimming holes, scenic drives, and countless opportunities to experience the beauty of Vermont. In autumn, the mountains come alive with some of New England's most spectacular fall foliage. Stowe Mountain Resort is just fifteen minutes away and offers world-class skiing and snowboarding in winter, while the warmer months bring exceptional hiking, mountain biking, golf, fly fishing, and outdoor recreation.
This is not a traditional stay.
It is a place to slow down, reconnect, and return home restored.
