Welcome to The Whitman House, a beautifully restored 1902 Craftsman set on one of Walla Walla’s most prestigious historic streets. This elegant yet welcoming home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and space to sleep up to 12 guests, making it the perfect home base for wine weekends, milestone celebrations, multi-family gatherings (dogs included), and friends traveling together who want space, walkability, and a beautiful home base.

Start your mornings with complimentary coffee from Walla Walla Roastery on the back patio, surrounded by mature trees and historic charm. After a day of wine tasting or exploring downtown, bring your favorite bottles home—cook, gather around the table, or unwind by the fire with cozy blankets and great conversation.
In the evenings, enjoy happy hour around the outdoor fire table, play a round of cornhole or ladder toss, or take a leisurely walk to Main Street for dinner before returning home to relax.
The spacious bedrooms offer comfortable retreats at the end of the day, and bonus sleeping spaces include futons and a pull-out couch, which are ideal for kids or flexible group layouts. The large dining table comfortably seats all 12 guests, making it perfect for shared meals, celebrations, and long evenings spent together. Outside, the kids will love the treehouse and yard, while furry family members will enjoy the fully fenced backyard.
In cooler months, cozy up by two wood-burning fireplaces, ideal for winter wine weekends and holiday stays. Enjoy casual mornings or afternoon hangs in the charming breakfast nook, and take advantage of the incredibly well-equipped kitchen, thoughtfully set up for cooking meals meant to be shared. Golfers staying at The Whitman House may have the opportunity to play at the private Walla Walla Country Club.

GOOD TO KNOW:
• All bedrooms are located upstairs
• The home comfortably hosts large groups, though there is one bathroom upstairs and one on the main floor
• The homeowner lives in a separate ADU apartment attached to the garage, located at the back of the property, completely detached from the house. The ADU is fenced off, private, and has no shared spaces. Guests rarely see the owner, though she may occasionally be around with her small dog, Priscilla.

3. Quiet hours: 9pm–8am (Sun–Thu) & 10pm–8am (Fri–Sat)
4. Trash must be secured in provided receptacles
5. Guests must follow all county-mandated burn bans
VERIFIED VIOLATIONS BY THE CITY AND/OR COMPLAINTS MADE BY NEIGHBORS CAN RESULT IN ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
DOGS ALLOWED:
We allow dogs only, a max of two dogs for a $150 pet fee. Please review rental agreement and welcome packet for more details about bringing dogs.
PARKING:
Guests have access to parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. Vehicles must be parked in two rows of two (tandem parking). Please ensure all vehicles are fully within the driveway and do not block any portion of the sidewalk or extend into the street.
CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES:
For security purposes, there are two outdoor cameras that monitor the front door, and back entrance. Cameras are there to help monitor weather, and are for guests' safety. There are no indoor cameras. **Tampering with cameras is immediate cause for eviction.
