High Alpine 211 | Hop’s Hideaway | Dream in the Smokies
Gatlinburg, Tennessee · 2 Bedrooms · 2 Bathrooms · Sleeps 6
Tucked into the heart of Chalet Village, Hop’s Hideaway at High Alpine 211 is a beautifully updated mountain condo where the comforts of home meet the quiet magic of the Great Smoky Mountains. Step inside to find a freshly renovated space that feels immediately warm and welcoming — a true basecamp for your Smokies escape.
The Kitchen & Dining
The updated kitchen greets you at the entry, outfitted with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you need to cook your favorite meals — from full cookware and dishware to a dishwasher, microwave, and both a traditional drip coffee maker and a Keurig. The dining table seats six comfortably — perfect for family dinners or a spirited game of cards after a long day on the mountain.
The Living Room
Sink into one of two reclining chairs or stretch out on the sofa in front of the wood-burning fireplace, with a cable TV to set the mood on cool mountain evenings. The sofa converts to a queen bed — ideal for larger groups needing a little extra sleeping space.
The Balcony
Step outside into your own quiet retreat. The covered balcony overlooks a lush, tree-lined alcove that feels a world away from the bustle of the strip — peaceful, shaded, and surrounded by greenery. The L-shaped outdoor lounge is made for lingering: morning coffee, afternoon naps, or evening star-gazing with the sounds of the forest all around you. It’s the kind of spot you didn’t know you needed until you’re there.
The Bedrooms
The king suite offers a restful retreat with a private en-suite bath, a flat-screen Roku TV, and its own direct access to the covered balcony. The queen suite features a flat-screen Roku TV and a semi-private full bath that can be closed off to create a fully private suite — perfect for families or two couples traveling together.
Chalet Village Club Access
As a guest of High Alpine 211, you’ll enjoy complimentary access to three Chalet Village Owners Clubs throughout your stay. The High Alpine Club is just steps from your door, featuring a swimming pool, kiddie pool, and a gameroom with pool table, foosball, and more. The South Clubhouse (0.5 miles) adds tennis, a fitness room, and multiple pool tables. The North Clubhouse (2.5 miles) rounds things out with a lap pool, tennis court, and additional gameroom. All clubs are open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Complimentary Attraction Admissions
Every day of your stay includes complimentary admission tickets to some of the Smokies’ most beloved attractions — Dollywood, Pirates Voyage Dinner Show, Mama’s Farmhouse, and more. It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing Dream in the Smokies.
A Note on Wildlife
Bears are a living part of the Smokies experience — and High Alpine is no stranger to visits. Keep your camera ready; sightings are frequent and genuinely unforgettable. That said, please do not feed the bears, and — speaking from experience — lock your car doors and leave the cocoa powder at home. 🐻
One complimentary ticket for each of our program attractions are included for every day of your stay. Enjoy personalized information about your rental, area recommendations, complimentary & exclusive offers from the best local attractions. And while you are on the go enjoy our easy-to-use activity site powered by Xplorie that includes local activity information and access to our live Destination Guides who can book your activities and answer any questions you may have along the way.
Guests will receive ONE complimentary admission per activity, per day. You can go to every activity, every day and one person will be free per day. Additional guests can purchase additional tickets.
