You’ll be tucked into a quiet, wooded pocket of Hochatown where most of the “neighbors” are other large cabins set among tall pines—it feels private, but not isolated. It’s the kind of place where mornings are slow with coffee on the deck and evenings are all about fire pits and stargazing. You won’t find shops or restaurants within walking distance, but you’re just a short drive from spots like Beavers Bend State Park and the main Hochatown strip. The area is very family- and group-oriented, generally safe, and built around vacation homes, so expect a peaceful atmosphere with the occasional group enjoying their own getaway nearby

Getting around here is pretty straightforward—just plan on having a car. Hochatown and Broken Bow are very spread out, and most guests drive everywhere, whether it’s to the lake, restaurants, or activities. Parking is easy and plentiful at most cabins and local spots, so you won’t have to worry about that. There’s no real public transportation, and rideshares can be hit or miss, especially later at night, so having your own vehicle is definitely the way to go. Once you’re settled in, though, you may find you don’t leave much since the cabin itself has plenty to do.
