December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon.

Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
Important: children under 12 are not advised at this property.

For security, four outdoor cameras are active: one facing the driveway, one facing the back deck, one in the rear courtyard, and one on the front deck. None of them face the hot tub. They face the exterior only.
