Key Largo Villa, Kawama L4, 3/3

What a wonderful week long stay! The layout of the home was perfect for our family- we traveled with our 2yr old and in-laws- lots of space to relax and getaway as needed. The weather was un-seasonably cold, but the home was warm and lots of blankets were available. Having such a well stocked kitchen was great for our nights in cooking and so many options to prepare our coffee in the morning was spectacular. We did like the porches on the second and third levels- having a coffee on the porch wrapped up in a blanket was so nice. There were 3 heated pools and a beautiful point to watch the sunset from. For parents with children under 5, be mindful that there are tons of uncovered outlets (great for charging devices, not little fingers) and the curtains in the master bedroom are rather sheer if you have a child that needs a dark room- I note this for planning and packing purposes only, we made it work. Next time we are in Key Largo we will definitely stay here!

GREAT location - this area has two pools but the best part was the little lagoon that you can swim in and canoe/kayak. Every morning - we were feeding the fish and they would practically eat out of your hands. BRING bug spray, though! The condo was very nice and had lots of towels/blankets/shampoo and even beach towels and a beach bag you can pack up. We loved the three levels because we had multiple families and kids and that way we could keep it separated. Really nice stay!

Nice townhome, great launching point for Key Largo. Mid floor is where the common area is. Really nice couch and places to gather. Great for three couples to be together but not all over each other. Two pools are both short walks and the marine life in the lagoon is great to watch. Security booth people are super nice and helpful and we felt very safe. Pool towels were plentiful and appreciated. Notes: Stairs are a bit tight with luggage for my elderly parents to navigate (obviously we helped them out but a solo elderly or limited mobility folks might struggle). Third bedroom is tight and on the first floor with no second egress. No problem for us but fyi. However the tradeoff is the first floor is then like a mini apartment.
