Laurelwood is a private, truly southern custom home, located on a private mountain estate, at the top of the elevated knoll, affording the feel of southern charm and luxury. Get ready to be “wowed” by this spectacular modern, yet historic feeling, southern style retreat estate.

With soaring vistas, high ceilings, vaulted spaces, and hard wood floors, you will immediately feel at home at Laurelwood. (That is of course if you can tear yourself away from the massive and luxurious front porch, & actually venture inside!) The great room, with stone fireplace, and fully equipped gourmet kitchen, is where everyone will want to gather to enjoy their time together inside the house. But, if you need some “alone time”, there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity. There are multiple outside porches, decks, and patios for ultimate outdoor relaxation. You have a kids playground, a Garage Game Room, & the 2nd Floor Game Room, for hours of enjoyment and relaxation. And of course you have the POOL and hot tub.

It is VERY easy to access the home, via only paved roads, and close to downtown Tryon. The home affords year round access, does NOT require 4-wheel drive, and is NOT off any steep rural mountain roads; easily accessible to downtown Tryon. The home is situated on a couple acres of mountain property, affording private, safe places for kids to play & explore, adults to take a hike, and everyone to relax & enjoy the quiet neighborhood. And of course there is the amazing amenities; POOL, hot tub, Game Room, stunning front porch, and more!

Kids love getting out in and around the expansive yard, and running around the property, playing on the playground & exploring the other outdoor areas. The expansive pool-deck/patio areas are just off the Kitchen/Great Room & just out the door, and off the Master Suite. All of these afford additional outdoor space to relax & unwind. While everyone enjoys the outdoor pool area, you can pull up a chair and take in the wooded view, observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard, or chilling on the front porch.

Just 5 minutes outside of downtown Tryon, & app. 15 minutes to TIEC. You are under 45 minutes south of downtown Asheville. You are less than 30 minutes to Asheville Regional airport, and 20 minutes to downtown Hendersonville. You can virtually walk to both Harmon Field and downtown Tryon.

Of course you are in horse country, and the TIEC. The Tryon International Equestrian Center is a year round venue located in Mill Spring, NC and is the world's premier Equestrian Lifestyle Destination showcasing some of the top riders in the Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing disciplines.
This property is also just a short drive from the quaint town of Tryon. Enjoy all sorts of new restaurants, shops, and a growing small-town America downtown vibe, with festivals and other activities year-round.

Events
Events are allowed at this property for up to 50 guests. NOTE: ALL Events will have fees associated with hosting an Event, and determined/finalized once a guest head-count is shared. The Event Fee will be assessed outside of, and separate from the normal rental costs. Please talk with Yonder Guest Experience Specialist for details and costs for having your event at Laurelwood.

Check-In / Check-Out
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pets
Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet, we are happy to recommend some alternatives nearby in our 'Pet Friendly Home' collection.

Quiet Policy
This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Military Discount
We proudly offer a 5% discount to active duty military members and veterans. Proper documentation is required. Reach out to our Guest Experience Team for details.

Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made within 5 days of arrival, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:

• A clear photo of a government-issued ID
• A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
• A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest's name
  Subject to security screening for verification and authenticity. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
