Along Kauai's North Shore, where the mountains fold down toward Hanalei Bay and the air stays soft with rain-fed color, Princeville keeps to the island's greener, quieter edge. Mauna Kai 7B is a two-story condo tucked into this corner of the coast, built around walls of glass that pull the surrounding greenery indoors. Three bedrooms and a loft spread across more than 2,800 square feet, so a group of ten has room to gather or scatter, a short drive from Anini's calm water and the trails at Princeville Ranch.
What You'll Love About Mauna Kai 7B
Walls of windows on both levels, wrapping more than 2,800 square feet of light-filled living
A full kitchen with dishwasher, wine fridge, and wraparound breakfast bar for group meals
Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and in-unit laundry for easy longer stays
A shared community pool, Ping-Pong, and landscaped grounds to wander
Sleeps ten across three bedrooms and a loft, with beach towels, boogie boards, and beach mats ready
Inside the Main Level
Vaulted, beamed ceilings lift the whole main floor, and walls of glass keep the greenery in view from the living room and dining area alike. Two separate seating areas give the group somewhere to gather around the Smart TV and somewhere quieter to land nearby. The dining table seats six just off the kitchen, so meals never feel far from the cook.
The Kitchen
White cabinets and stainless appliances keep the kitchen bright, while the wraparound breakfast bar gives extra hands a place to perch. A dishwasher, wine fridge, and full-size range handle everything from a fast breakfast to a slow dinner, and a mini fridge keeps beach drinks close.
Out to the Lanai
The furnished lanai opens off the main level, with a grill for the nights the group would rather eat outside. Air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the interior cool when the afternoon warms up, and the shared pool and Ping-Pong table sit a short walk across the landscaped grounds.
Sleeping Quarters
Primary bedroom, main level: its own ensuite bath and a quiet remove from the living areas, comfortable for two
Second bedroom, main level: room for two, with a full bath directly across the hall
Third bedroom, upstairs: set beneath the beamed ceiling near the second full bath, sleeping two
Loft landing, upstairs: a queen bed and two twin bunkbeds in an open space above the stairwell, sharing the upstairs bath
Nearby
This is Kauai's greener, slower coast. Princeville's own shops and restaurants sit close by, and Hanalei lies less than four miles southwest, gathered along the bay. Anini Beach draws snorkelers to calm, reef-sheltered water, while the trails of Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park reward a longer drive west. Princeville Ranch, two miles down the road, offers horseback rides, ziplines, and off-road trails, and Lihue Airport (LIH) is at the island's south end.
Good to Know
Set across two levels; the upstairs bedroom and loft are reached by stairs, and the loft is open to the stairwell rather than closed off as a private room.
The pool, Ping-Pong, and grounds are shared with the Mauna Kai community.
Air conditioning, in-unit laundry, and high-speed WiFi are included; free parking is on site and a car is recommended for the North Shore.
Self check-in by lock box. Beach towels, boogie boards, and beach mats are provided, and a pack-and-play is available on request.
TAT ID: TA-178-873-7024-01
TMK: 4-5-4-005-004-0017
When the boogie boards are stacked by the door and the last light leaves the lanai, Mauna Kai 7B settles into the quiet the North Shore does best. The grill is ready when your group is.
