Welcome to Mountain Shadows D7, a fully remodeled, pet-friendly studio condo in a convenient central Mammoth Lakes location, professionally managed by Mammoth Lakes Condo Rentals. This was the first property I purchased in Mammoth, and I've taken great pride in keeping it clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

The condo sleeps up to four guests with a queen bed and a queen-size memory foam sleeper sofa. The open studio layout includes a full kitchen, breakfast bar, comfortable living area, and full bathroom. A wood-burning fireplace provides that authentic mountain atmosphere, with firewood supplied during the winter months.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals rather than dining out every night. You'll also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, and a comfortable place to unwind after skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring Mammoth.

D7 is our only pet-friendly property. Dogs are welcome for a small fee, but we maintain the condo to the same high standards as our other properties, with thorough cleaning between every stay.

One of Mountain Shadows' greatest advantages is its central location. Vons grocery store, restaurants, bars, shops, and movie theaters are within walking distance. The nearby Green and Red Line shuttle stops provide convenient transportation throughout Mammoth without needing to drive. The complex also offers three Jacuzzis, a seasonal swimming pool, saunas, and laundry facilities.

Located on the ground floor, D7 features a covered deck and convenient access for unloading luggage, groceries, and outdoor gear.

A Few Things to Know

Like many Mammoth condos built in the 1970s, Mountain Shadows has some quirks. Soundproofing is not comparable to newer construction, so you may occasionally hear neighboring units. During winter, the covered deck is primarily used for firewood storage and receives limited natural light due to snow accumulation and its sheltered location. We prefer to share these details upfront so there are no surprises.

D7 isn't a luxury condo, and we don't pretend otherwise. It's a clean, comfortable, well-equipped mountain retreat in an excellent location, with a wood-burning fireplace, accommodations for four, and the added benefit of welcoming dogs.
