Crystal Creek Retreat is equipped with fast Starlink WiFi. Cell service can still be limited throughout Glacier and the Mt. Baker area depending on your carrier, so downloading driving directions and arrival information before heading up the mountain is always helpful.

Mountain weather can change quickly. During winter, guests should be prepared for snow, ice and changing road conditions, and AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended.

As with any mountain community, occasional power or service interruptions can happen during significant storms. Wildlife is also part of life here, so please keep food, garbage and coolers secured indoors.

For larger grocery runs, stocking up before heading into the Mt. Baker area is recommended. Local markets and restaurants are available, but options and hours are more limited than in Bellingham.
