The spacious living room is designed around the view, featuring leather seating, a large stone fireplace, and a 65” smart TV. Swivel rocking chairs offer the perfect spot to watch the famous “laker” ships move slowly across the lake while enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails.
DINING AREA...
Gather around the oversized dining table with seating for 12—perfect for meals, birthday celebrations, game nights, and reconnecting after a day exploring the North Shore. Guests will also find board games, playing cards, puzzles, and books in the dining room console.
KITCHEN...
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for everything from simple breakfasts to holiday-style dinners, with generous prep space, a butcher block table, breakfast bar seating for four, cookware, serving pieces, grilling essentials, and many additional “extras”. Coffee anyone? Choose between a traditional drip coffee maker, with coffee provided, and a Nespresso Vertuo machine (please bring your own Vertuo pods, as we do not provide the pods and they are not available locally).
WET BAR...
Across from the kitchen, the wet bar includes seating for four, a mini fridge, sink, wine rack, and a collection of glassware and bar accessories for everything from craft cocktails to wine and beer.
THE DECK...
Step outside onto the oversized private deck perched above the “Big Water”. Glass railings preserve the panoramic views while you relax with outdoor dining, rocking chairs, and a grill overlooking the massive waters of Lake Superior.
SPA ROOM...
One of Nautical’s most unique features is the private spa room with a large jetted tub—the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking, biking, golfing, ATV adventures, skiing, snowmobiling, or a scenic drive along the North Shore.
TWO KING LAKEVIEW SUITES...
Wake up to sunrise over Lake Superior in either of Nautical's two king suites. Both feature direct lake views, fireplaces, and private bathrooms, creating a luxurious retreat within the retreat.
THREE QUEEN BEDROOMS...
Additional sleeping accommodations include a spacious queen bedroom with two fold-out sleeper chairs for children, a second-floor queen bedroom next to a 3/4 bath, and a first-floor queen bedroom ideal for guests seeking minimal stairs.
CONVENIENCE...
An in-unit washer and dryer are conveniently located in the second-floor hallway.
We have a Pack N Play and a high chair available in the condo for guests - but the condo is not childproof.
Guests staying at Nautical enjoy close access to the pool, sauna, and whirlpool area—just a quick 1–2 minute indoor walk away.
You'll be steps from the new Gitchi-Gami State Trail section that goes into Two Harbors, perfect for scenic biking or walking to town!
OCCUPANCY
Our Lake County license takes the total number of people into account, regardless of age. Nautical will accommodate a total of 15 people, including infants.
SERVICE DOGS...
Nautical is generally a dog-free property. However, by law, according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service dogs are permitted at all hotels and Airbnbs. Our professional cleaning team thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the property after every stay.

Minnesota’s North Shore offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventure and exploration, from hiking, golfing, and kayaking or canoeing to discovering scenic waterfalls, ATV/UTV trails, snowmobiling, and downhill and cross-country skiing. Travel a section of the iconic Minnesota North Shore Scenic Drive, a breathtaking 154-mile route that winds along Lake Superior from Duluth to the Canadian border. Along the way, you’ll encounter charming lakeside towns, local restaurants and breweries, and countless panoramic views. Year-round, the North Shore comes alive with festivals, concerts, and special events, ensuring there is always something memorable for all ages to experience. And, if you're lucky, you'll see the northern lights...Lady Aurora!

Nautical is located at Burlington Bay Condominiums, just one mile north of Two Harbors along the scenic shores of Lake Superior. Originally associated with Superior Shores Resort, many of the condos are now privately owned. We have updated our Nautical Executive Suite for our own enjoyment...and yours!
LAKESIDE...
If you’re looking for a smaller option, also check out our “Lakeside” condo—a first-floor walkout 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat in Building B5, also at Burlington Bay, featuring a convenient no-step experience. We do allow guests to bring one dog for an additional $50 per stay fee.
